I trout fish rocky streams, and wade the relentless Mississippi River and these have stood the test of both. The boots are rugged and fit true to size while the waders themselves are completely waterproof and tough so they won't tear or poke holes when walking through brush and sticks. They are also extremely lightweight, honestly I forget I'm wearing them while I fish! Have not yet used (fit was spot on) but FOR THE PRICE the material and construction is excellent. I expect there will eventually be damage and wear that will comprise the materiel but I will just patch it....and still be ahead price-wise. Where the leggings on any wader is attached to the rubber boot is the weakest area. Before use i will reinforce the seam using Dap Weldwood Contact Cement and 3M Rubber (waterproof) Tape 2228. Prepare and apply correctly and the results will be very good. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. If you’re looking for a great wader at a great price you can’t go wrong with these! I spent a couple hours in these removing some beaver dams out of the river and they held up perfectly! They kept me dry and wa if you’re looking for a great waiter at a great price you can’t go wrong with these! These are extremely lightweight which is a major issue once under water, they seem quality for the money, only used them once so far to wade into our river beside our house to cut some low tree limbs. They do leak like others have mentioned at the seam, so I’ll have to run silicone on them or something along that seam before I use them again! That should do the trick. I would recommend these. These waders were purchased to serve as a quick alternative to my traditional wading boots and chest waders when I don't want to take 10 minutes so suit up. I tested these the other day in near-freezing water, with ice-covered banks. Here's what I like: Normally, I take a size 10 1/2 shoe, so I order the size 11 wader. Fit, especially with two pairs of socks was comfortable. The quality of the wader itself looks good, as the inside seam was covered in no-leak tape. I thought the quality of construction where the wader attaches to the boot was good. However, the best part of these waders appears to be the bottom of the boot as they provided excellent footing when I made my way into the stream traversing many feet of ice. I believe the traction is good, because the boot itself is a little on the softer side, so my feet could actually detect changes in the soil/stream as I walked. I have two observations that might be important. The waders above the boot seem to be almost form-fitting, which might not be comfortable for some. On the plus side, I didn't feel it necessary to clip the waders on to my belt and the waders stayed up while fishing. The way the waders loop over your belt, while it works, it's the best system I've seen as it's just a simple snap. Even though the water was cold, I think my feet were a tad warmer than they were when I'd wear my traditional wading boots and waders. Are they good? Yes. Would I buy them again? Yes. I guess you can't ask any more from a product than that. ... show more

Great lightweight hip waders. Perfect for hot days. I’m in the creeks and streams 90% of my fishing trips. These help for all kinds of situations and don’t make me sweat. I’d suggest going up one size so they don’t fit tight if you’re a bulkier fella. If your slim it should fit to size. No leaks so far ! And they do the job perfectly ... show more

I bought these for a short trip to Colorado for rivers and pond fishing. I didn't expect much because of the cost, but I was very pleased when I received them. They are a heavier thickness than most cheap waders. These are better than normal quality on the lower end. As far as the size goes, I read the reviews and went ahead with a size larger than I wear. I wear a 10.5 to 11 depending on the shoe. I bought a 12. It was slightly too large, but worked well with thicker socks. Better than being too small. ... show more

About the stars, they are very lightweight. They are fairly comfortable but not like a custom fit. Having no laces or buckles makes them just pretty close to good. Durability is unknown at this point. Value is excellent. I have two spring fed streams and a creek here. I wear these waders while doing clearing and maintenance of the banks and beds.
