It's good to have the 3 size wire stripping clamp since I had small, medium, and large diameter wires to connect. The single wire terminal fit perfectly to the stripping clamp and the color coded clamps makes identifying the various sizes easier. I initially used a large size clamp but was too large and was able to open the clamp to use the next smaller size which worked properly for the purpose. I was then able to re-use the one just opened. I got these in anticipation of a project that is still a week or two away, but I decided to open it up and look at it anyways, and the clip broke in my hand... connectors seem to be of on par quality, but again, haven't used it yet

I ran across this product looking for wiretaps and in the past, I have used T-Taps before but if you need to take it apart, you have to cut it out. These are great, you get a t-tap and a connector so you can plug it in. The only thing I had an issue with was one of the wire types I was using had more rigid or harder insulation and I had to push the wires into the wiretap before closing the shell. Other than that, I love that you can mix and match wire sizes with the different taps so you can use a larger tap and tap off with a smaller wire. ... show more
