    • Great Little "Cheapie" Tablet! and Then Some.
First of all, I've got a great laptop. However for general day-to-day use I have a small, low price Windows tablet (easier to carry, plop it down anywhere). Recently my trustworthy eight-year-old Cheapie Windows Tablet showed the unmistakable signs that No Further Repairs Would Keep It Running Any Longer and it's time to look for another one. So, while browsing the Amazon website I stumbled across this Tablet. Like other reviewers I saw the low price and figured Heck, I could always return it if it wasn't worth it. First of all, it's a nice compact unit (Windows 11 Home pre-installed). Image quality is excellent with sharp definition and vibrant colors. Also has two pretty-good-sounding stereo speakers (much better than Cheapie Tablet quality). The tablet easily docks and un-docks from the keyboard and is fully usable by itself. Several hints and a clarification: 1) There is only one USB port, a standard USB-A connector. The USB-C connector is for power only. I was concerned when I saw that the charger puts out 12 volts! This is not a problem. If you Google "USB-C delivers 12 volts" you will find an article explaining USB power distribution. The power supply communicates with the device it's connected to and supplies the proper voltage and current as needed. It >won't< fry a 5 volt device! (Whew)! 2) The Tablet has a 64Gig Solid-State Drive. You can also install a 128 Gig Micro SD card which becomes your second drive (D:). Keep all your personal stuff on that drive and leave the C: drive for software. There is one minor inconvenience; there is no 'Delete' key. You have to backspace or right-click-delete instead. The touchscreen works great as does the touch pad. (There are left- and right-click buttons at the bottom). The touch pad is very sensitive and will interfere with your typing. It's easy to disable (fn+spacebar). Hint: get a bluetooth mouse. Works great. Conclusion: If you need a good Cheapie tablet, this is it! Written on Tibuta Masterpad W100. ... show more

I totally love the tablet. I needed something small to organize & facilitate backing-up photos on the field. The Tibuta W100 is perfect. BUT...I have found no other charging solution for the Tibuta W100 other than the supplied charger. No car charger, battery pack, USB- C chargers. I tried looking for a replacement charger (I really need to charge from a battery pack and/or in the car). It appears that when the supplied charger fails or is lost, there will be no way to charge the tablet and the tablet will be trash. Very disappointing. The photos show an excellent little battery pack I have been using on all my USB-C devices to charge-up out in the wilds, and the charging icon shows the W100 does not recognize it at all. 4-19-23 update... Inspite of the documentation saying the W100 can only use a 128Gig micro SD to expand the storage capacity, I put an Extreme 256Gig 190mb/sec micro SD card in , formatted it, and it is working perfectly! So I bumped up my review to 2 Stars. I love this little device, but the lack of alternative chargers and no apparent way to buy a replacement is a big problem. 6-6-23 update I found out that the charger needed has to put out 10 volts. Most chargers only put out about 2 volts. This small computer was ordered 12/25/2022 for photography travel backup. Prior to purchase, I submitted questions to the seller regarding the maximum memory (ability to increase hard drive capacity). I was informed that 128 gb using a micro sd card was the only option. The option does not increase the 65 gb capacity of the internal hard drive, it functions in much the same as a stand alone hard drive. The limit is 128gb for the card, if a larger card (256 gb) is used RAW photo files transferred from the camera SD card to a 256gb micro sd may be corrupted in the transfer process. This appears to me to be a limitation of the computer. Corruption occurred with quite a few of the RAW files when I attempted to use a 256 gb card and although this may not be the experience other users may have, I will use only the recommended 128 gb cards in the future for the computer. Otherwise, I can recommended this computer. The small size and weight are very beneficial. It arrived loaded with windows 11, which I immediately updated. The screen is bright and sharp and the keyboard although small is perfectly usable and the process of backing up and later transfer to Lightroom was successful. The size, windows 11, relatively low price make the computer a good option for my photo processing. It has it’s limitations, and if can work within, I highly recommend it. This is a kids toy! It does not come with a certified copy of windows, you have to download a genuine copy for the programs to work. It is very, very slow and can’t really be used by anyone that is expecting a real pad. I use mine as a monitor for my exterior cameras, and it works OK for that. You get what you pay for..in other words, don’t expect much from this unit, especially when you have to buy Windows after you purchase it! ... show more
