The colors on this bowl are beautiful. I bought the turquoise one, but I can only imagine that the other colors are just as vibrant. It was a bit smaller than I was expecting, but for the price, combined with the free prayer flags, you can't beat this deal with a stick--- or a singing bowl mallet! The paper wrapped around the bowl itself was a bit yellowed and smelled a bit musty when I pulled it off, but thankfully the bowl itself wasn't damaged and the mallet wasn't moldy. The prayer flags were already a bit frayed when I took them out, but I assume that they naturally fray over time, since they're made to degrade. I've never had any Tibetan prayer flags, though, so I could be wrong. They also tend to roll back up into cylinders since they were rolled into one thick cylinder in the box for ease of shipping, but I imagine that the wind and such will naturally unfurl them over time. Overall, a lovely purchase. I gave it to my mom, as I have another singing bowl--- actually I ordered this around Christmas, so I was worried it had gotten lost in the mail for a while and bought another bowl at Earthbound just in case, and while that one was lovely, this one from Namaste Craft/Thamelmart is just stunning. My mom loved it, and we hung the prayer flags together just outside our door on the eave of our roof. ... show more

The bowl itself is smaller than I thought, the packaging was nice, the cushion it comes with is good enough and the sound the bowl produces is soft and deep at the same time, if you focus well enough you'll be able to hear how the sound vanishes in a very pleasant way, the only downside of this bowl (in my opinion) is that once it reaches the highest pitch, it starts vibrating a lot, that vibration prevents the stick to be smooth. ... show more

This bowel is so beautiful! And so it’s the pillow that came with it. The flags are nice also but i probably won’t find myself using them and pass them off to a friend or family member. The only complaint i have that stopped me from giving it 5 starts is that the pillow smelled like mildew. And the order is very strong. So now i have to waste time to clean the pillow and make sure it’s sanitized well before i can even really use the bowel. But other then that i love my new bowel! ... show more

I love this singing bowl! Only thing is I couldn’t get it to “work right” and had to be taught how to hold it so it would “sing” when rubbed as I don’t think the video was adequate enough. If holding in hand verses having it set on the vision you have to hold it as little as possible so your palm doesn’t start to embrace it. Open flat hand needed. Cushion makes it easier. The light blue color is beautiful, and works great with mindfulness meditation practices when eyes need to be open for the mindfulness part. The hum it gives off is pleasant and allows you to clear your mind just focusing on the sound. ... show more
