Diagnosed with De Quervain's Tenosynovitis, brace given to me by the doctor was horrible. It covered the whole thumb and essentially made my hand into a useless club. I work in an office, lots of paperwork, you wouldn't believe how much you actually use a thumb when processing paperwork. Bought this brace and put it on and instantly knew that this was exactly what I needed. The wrist is braced and so is the thumb, but it doesn't cover the whole thumb so I can still use the thumb from the first knuckle and up, so big improvement. No more pain in my wrist, comfortable to wear all day and sleep in. I HIGHLY recommend this product. ... show more

Overall, this brace immobilizes your wrist pretty well. The Velcro on the strap for the thumb is not strong, it often pops loose. That thumb strap could’ve been made better; otherwise decent for the price.

But it isolates the wrist well. Sturdy, lots of straps to customize fit. I'm using it for allow a wrist to heal and for thumb arthritis and I would say it's useful.
