I bought this bag, because I wanted to have something more professional looking and more durable than the canvas bag I've been toting around for the past couple of years. I was a little worried about putting down so much money for this Thule bag, since I wasn't sure if it'd suit my needs and be worth the ticket price. Despite having lost a roomy exterior pouch, this bag is my new best friend! I love the magnetic closures and the deep back pocket, which is perfect for wallet or passport. I use the laptop-access zipper every day, and I love the side-access to the main compartment, which makes it easy to access items that fall to the bottom of the bag. It's perfect for bags like this one with a deep main compartment. The yellow color of the inside of the bag also helps a lot with visibility! Perhaps my favorite thing is how COMFORTABLE this backpack is to carry. It's padded so well, and it really helps to evenly spread the load. My shoulders don't feel so burdened as they did with my old bag. Also, there's a strap that sits between the bag pads that makes it so you can slip this bag over a luggage's handle. They didn't show that in the video! Super awesome, and I'm so excited to make use of it on my next trip.

Absolutely love this pack. Feels secure on my back, has a solid structure to keep posture good when loaded up. There's literally a pocket for everything. If you have a smaller frame the 27L might be a bit large for you. I'm 6' and 200lb so it's the perfect size for me. The only thing I wasn't crazy about is that there's no way to secure the top flap down. No clasp or magnet, but that's mostly a personal preference

This is such a great backpack: super thoughtful organization, great quality, comfortable to wear even when packed and heavy, looks good for city use. Lack of sternum strap is really the only downside. If it were 10-20% smaller it would've been my perfect bag, but it looks absolutely humongous on me (I'm a woman, average height and skinny). Please make a shrunken version of this, Thule!

I used this backpack on a 3 week international trip where I took 7 flights and several train rides in between. Design: It is a well designed backpack with a lot of organization. The pockets are well thought out and there is a place for everything. This is a bag where you can load it up for the bigger trips like a flight and put a packing cube in there with headphones, a laptop, and all of the little accessories. It is also usable as a day pack as long as it is packed lightly. The water bottle pocket on the side was large enough to support a 30 oz YETI water bottle with ease. It has a luggage strap on the back panel so you can put this on your suitcase while travelling through the airport. This stows away nicely while not in use. Comfort: My only gripe about this backpack is that it does not have a sternum strap. I am not sure why Thule decided to skip the sternum strap on a backpack that is meant to be loaded up and travelled with. The lack of supports put some strain on my shoulders which made using this pack for an entire day actually fatiguing. This is the one area that could really be improved. Durability: The backpack is built like a tank and I used it in the rain while on vacation. I should note that I was using an umbrella, however it seemed to deal with the rain decently since the wind would push the rain under the umbrella regularly. The zippers feel solid and after 3 weeks of hard travelling, the backpack shows little to no signs of use. This backpack will be my everyday carry and I think I might buy and after market sternum strap for when I need to load it up to travel again. Everything about this design is well thought out except for the lack of supports to distribute the weight.

Got this backpack for my husband to replace his man satchel that he was using pre-covid. So, now that he has to carry his virtual gear back and forth between the office, this backpack is his new love. He specifically said it was a dream being able to open zippers at the side for access to his laptop, moreso because he is left handed. This backpack allows him access to the main areas using his left hand. He said if he could even complain about anything with this backpack, its that there are so many access points that he decided to get separate organizers/mini storage bags to keep the little items together and accessible with ease.

Super high quality and incredibly functional. Sleek design doesn't hurt as well. I use this as my daily work laptop/backpack and I travel a lot. It is incredibly durable and I get compliments on it all the day which is a bonus! Highly recommend it
