This thing lights up the whole backyard at night. It’s actually too bright to. Look at anything just a few feet away because the reflected light is still enough to blind your vision… even hurts a little. The different modes don’t make much sense and there weren’t useful instructions, but for just a bright light. You’ll be impressed. The pointy fitting over the front might actually be useful for something, but it catches on pockets and everything else when pulling it out or putting away. The unit gets hot pretty quickly on the bright mode. This was in the description, but it still caught me off guard how hot and how quick. Pretty much all flashlights tell you not to point at people’s eyes; it’s for real with this one, unless for self defense… If you need a light for finding stuff in the car at night, this is way too much. Spotting something in the yard or blinding an attacker, perfect.

Everything is great except for the tail switch. That’s how I primarily use the light. Bought it in Feb of 2022, in December it started acting up. I’m in contact with customer service so we’ll see how this goes. I upped my review to three stars because customer service was very responsive and mailed me a new tail switch promptly. However, I encouraged a coworker to get one of these lights a couple months ago and he is having much worse issues than I am. His tail switch is almost completely failed. If you use the tail switch a lot, it might not hold up.

The max lumens and throw on this is everything any self defender or LEO could want, and it's half the price of the most popular brands. Thrunight and BSS really hit it out of the park with this. DON'T spend a couple hundred on some other handheld light. This is the one you want. Side note, mine turned itself one twice while I was messing with the clip on the first day. The buttons wouldn't turn it off, but it's an easy fix. Just unscrew the tail cap and screw it back on. No problems since.

I've had this light for a few months now with daily use. As far as usefulness goes it has been awesome. A piece of advice is when you carry it in your pocket, using the clip, be sure that the clip is on in a way that the flashlight wont turn on in your pocket by way of the button on the side of it. Not only will it use up battery but it will warm your pocket and leg quite alot. Now, everything has been kosher up to now. I noticed the day before yesterday that after a full charge I would active turbo mode and the light would step down its output after a few seconds. I thought it odd but didn't really think too much into it. Yesterday I went to use it and then everything went bad. Upon turning the light on, whether in turbo or not, it would come on, suddenly dim the light to an almost blue color and shut off. All within a few seconds time. Now today, after a charge the light is not functional. This is pretty disappointing. Now this may very well be a battery problem. So I will be buying a new battery and seeing what happens. Will update.

I have had my eye on this light for a few months and finally saw a deal that was just too good to pass up, so i finally bought it. To start with, this light looks awesome, the desert tan color is one of my favorites. The fit and finish is perfect no imperfections in the color or texturing. The texturing is nice and grippy without being too aggressive. I took off the strike bezel because it's too sharp for Every Day Carry, but if I was in law enforcement I would probably leave it on. It comes with a pocket clip and a holster so you have 2 options for carrying it. Its not a deep carry pocket clip but maybe it was made that way so its easier to grab and pull out of the pocket. The user interface is pretty easy to use. The tailcap switch is for quick access to turbo (2523 lumens) If you hold the side switch down for several seconds you get firefly mode (.54 lumens) A single click with the side switch will turn on the light. Then hold the side switch down to choose between low (33 lumens), medium (350 lumens), high (1426 lumens). Triple click the side switch to get to the strobe setting. This light has everything I want in an edc light. The fast tail switch turbo setting from the tailcap is a must, and the lower settings with longer runtimes are great for tasks like finding something that fell out of your vehicle, or something in a bag. This flashlight will definitely go into my edc rotation.

I really like this flashlight. I use it 4-5 days per week, for unarmed security work. I like that the cap button gives you instant access to the brightest beam, without having to click through half a dozen options. If you need brightness in a hurry, just click! The other options being available with the side button, three fast clicks for strobe, a couple of low power settings for map reading, and regular "high" mode. The finish is coming off a bit after 3 months of wear, but I don't care about that. I had to loctite the toothy bezel in place as it kept unscrewing itself, and I had to chase it across a parking lot once. I use the light regularly though out my 10+ hour night shifts but I don't really know Exactly how long the light is actually on. I rarely use it for more than a few minutes at a time, but I use it a lot. Regardless, the battery has never died on me before I could recharge it. The body gets hot Very quickly at full power. Nice in cold weather, but it limits the usefulness of turbo mode since if it overheats it will throttle the power down to regular high mode. All in all, for the price it's durable, I love not having to purchase batteries weekly, and it's very bright. If I lose mine, I'll order another just like it immediately. Highly recommended!
