This was a gift for my 5 year old grandson but of course I had to run it through my quality control evaluation. The initial charge is 4 hours, check. I loaded batteries in the remote control and this thing comes alive! Very fast, flips and contorts like it should. I gave it 4 stars because the two prong wall plug was not included with the recharging hardware. My opinion is that it should have been. It's a standard size and I was able to use one that I already had for the initial charge, but then I had to buy one to make the gift complete.

Got this for my son. He’s 4. I was somewhat disappointed by the cheapness of the product, the remote feels cheap. I don’t think it could withstand too many drops. The car is a lot of fun, kinda hard to control but there is no wrong way to drive this thing. It flips and spins. It’s not too loud. It has lights on it as well. It does not easily get stuck. It’s not too fast and can drive in the house no problem. I wish the remote was built better but that is the only complaint. The remote takes 2 AA and the car runs on a rechargeable battery which comes with a usb. charger. There is also a second batter so that you can charge and play at the same time. Overall it’s a fun toy just not the best quality.

So I bought this for my 4-year old nephew. Some of these remotes are not great for younger children because of how many controls are on the remote BUT this one is great. It’s very simple and this thing is fun. It goes so many directions and it keeps going on different types of floor or ground. Very fun
