Wear these all day almost everyday and they are very comfortable. The sizing is a bit large but close enough that with wools socks they fit perfect.

We were nervous about buying this boot online vs from an in-person retailer because of the price-point & the fact that the brand typically sells through distributors, which is a common issue on Amazon if repairs are needed - e.g.: repair isn't covered because the retailer wasn't an authorized one. The experience was great - they shipped FedEx, meaning a realistic shipping time frame, prompt service & delivery, etc. The boots are also excellent. The stitching, quality of the materials, and comfort right out of the box blow Red Wing out of the water. We did treat immediately with Obenauf's Heavy Duty LP for water protection / wear & tear protection and an easier break-in period. The leather is gorgeous both before & after treatment. My partner has gone through 4 pairs of Red Wing boots in the last four years, and this last pair they didn't stand by their warranty - hence the switch. So glad we did!

Best boots I’ve owned in 16 years building houses. They’re extremely comfortable and have held up well for the three months I’ve used them. The stitching is sturdy and the leather used is very nice. Highly recommend. This is the first pair of boots I’ve bought in years that lasted this long without the leather on the toes ripping

This is the most comfortable work boot I have ever worn I can't even tell they are steel toe. I've had my current pair for about 7 months and they still feel as comfortable as when I got them. I work in concrete and do a lot of kicking rebar and lumber when it's in my way and these things still hold up. I paired them with some obenauf leather l.p. it doesn't seem that they take a beating. Great show recommend for any hard worker.

These thorp goods without the thermal lining have such a thin piece of leather they barely stand on their own. I roll my ankle with these boots on regularly because they have no support on the sides it’s just a thin flimsy piece of leather, and compared to red wings, or brunt boots, these are way overpriced for the actual quality of boot. Then again I never tried the insulated ones, which I’d hope have more support/cushioning around the ankle/leg area.

Im an ironworker connecter and a welder work in NY and NJ, this boots when i first got it was really bad, it felt uncomfortable at first but after time it started to be very comfortable, the leather it adjusted just perfect for me, and this is a really light its not have like some other boots, i have my for one year already i use everyday and it still look good, this boot it just not good for the winter and is 15f below, but they are great boots, i would so recommend this.

I work construction and service as an electrician in heavy commercial and industrial settings, and having comfortable work boots that have a real steel toe in them is a mandatory requirement of mine. I also prefer purchasing good made in the USA. This boot meets all of those requirements. Zero break in time, flat sole feels liken you're walking around in slippers. No obnoxious logger heel to get caught on stairs or strain your legs. As for longevity, this is my second pair. My first pair is now my dirty site work pair and I've had them over 1 1/2 years. My only complaint is that the sole wears out WAY too quick for a work boot. They were worn down pretty severely that after about a year i bought my second pair. For reference, I had a pair of chinese chippewas that lasted me 3 years doing the exact same work and the sole held up much better than these.
