These steel toe boots have a steel shank, along with a slip-resistant and highly abrasion-resistant Vibram rubber outsole with reinforced tip stitch. Inside, the waterproof membrane, 400g of 3M Thinsulate insulation, and our Ultimate Shock Absorption will keep your feet warm, dry, and comfortable until the day is done.

I was weary about spending too much for a pair of work boots...read and watched a ton of reviews for a few brands. There are a lot of brands out there and I narrowed my choices to two, then picked the more expensive pair. Yes these boots are expensive but when I opened the box I was not disappointed. The boots are quality and it shows with the workmanship and heavy duty nature of the boots. Thick and sturdy soles and outsoles gusseted tongue, superior leather. I wear a 10.5, ordered a 10.5 and they fit perfect. Most importantly they are comfortable. The upper (collar) has padding and the insole makes the boot just snug enough. I needed a boot with good arch support and this boot has that. The boot is heavy duty and if you are looking for a light boot this one is not for you. I would say they each weigh close to 4 lbs. The only thing I found disappointing was the laces. For a boot of this quality the laces are cheap, flimsy and not long enough. Great work boots, very solid and well made... you might be spending a few extra bucks but the longevity and their ability to be rebuilt will save you extra cash in the long run. Break-in time is about 10-15 hrs of wearing. I would also recommend getting the 3x width if you have a wide foot simply because the leather is high grade and doesn't not flex as easily as one would experience with other boots. Plus I would recommend the 400 gram thinsulate for comfort in most weather conditions up to 100 deg. ... show more

Great boots and worth every penny. These are comfortable out of the box and made sturdily. I purchased the size that I normally wear and they fit well, if that detail helps anyone; also I am slimmer and have slim feet as well. If you're looking for well made boots that fit well, can handle rough work outside, and keep your feet from sweating too much, buy these. ... show more

I had never touched boots of such quality, it's simply impressive and I wanted to keep them so intensely that returning them gave me tachycardia ! Unfortunately they've only one flaw that makes them a deal breaker for me and that's the absurd heel, why !? Why put an almost feminine heel on so perfect boots ? They're ridiculously comfortable, robust and a very long etc, but those heels on men's boots are very difficult to ignore, I've never so regretted having to return a product like these boots, they're wonderful but a man looks really funny walking around with those high heels, such a pity ... show more

Yet best working shoes I ever had but size wise they are half size bigger from what they were supposed to be. My Dunlop's are EU44/US11 and I wanted well fitted boots so I ordered Thorogood EU43.5/US10.5 but they feel the same. My Merrell's are 43.5 and they fit perfect for comparison. I'd suggest ordering one size smaller compared to other working boots and half size smaller than regular shoes if you want Thorogood's to fit perfect. For my job it's not that critical but I'll still have to put rubber pad to compensate the size ... show more

This is my third pair of these boots I loved my first two pair. But this pair of there’s a hump in the sole of the right boot right before my toes . It bothers my foot so much I can’t even wear them .
