  • Super comfy boots
Size: 11 Color: Briar Pitstop
I do concrete for a living, and these boots have held up pretty darn good. Well worth the money.

  • The answer to the question everyone asks,
Size: 10 Wide Color: Briar Pitstop
I have worn redwing mock toe boots for over 20 years and have been looking at trying a pair of Thorogoods for a few years. The first question that came to mind was “ are they better than Redwings”? The answer is, they are very high quality boots and will last several years with proper care and maintenance along with a resole, same as redwings. They are just different. They have a slightly different feel and seem to run narrow compared to redwings mock toe. The laces are annoying at first because they slide while adjusting down several loops. But I actually have come to like the way they adjust. They also seem to take longer to break in. I am happy with them and like the larger variety of color schemes in the mock toe boot. ... show more

  • Most expensive boots ever bought, worth it!
Size: 10.5 Color: Briar Pitstop
I was hesitant to buy these at $300 because I go through a pair a year and consider boots disposable. First, I broke them in within the first week, they fit like a glove and my feet are not as sore as usual. they are warm and seem at least water resistant so far. I feel like if I take care of them they may last more than a year. The only downside for me is the lacing. I knew that when I bought them but I would get lace ups with zippers next time. Hopefully that won't be for a while. I use them for work and MC riding. The tie is a little high for shifting but I think I will get used to it. Hope this is helpful if you are considering dropping the $. ... show more

  • Perfect boots
Size: 13 Wide Color: Briar Pitstop
These are great quality. I was wearing Irish setters for a while and constantly had to get new boots every three months.. These ones last at minimum 6 months. I wear my boots pretty much from 4am to 8 or 9 pm sometimes later.

  • Sole seperation right out of the box.
Size: 14 Wide Color: Briar Pitstop
Im giving this boot 2 stars because right out of the box there were visible spots on the front of the sole that were separating from the boot. Ive seen other reviews with the sole seperation problem. The boot fits amazing and feels great. Awesome construction other than the sole. But there was a gap in three different spots at the front of one boot. I am returning these and going to give the second pair a chance. Ill write another review when the second pair comes. UPDATE: I recieved my second pair after returning the first after i saw the sole of the boot was already separating. The second pair had no visible seperation spots when i received the boots. I wore the boots for about a week to see how they would hold up. The first few days i wore them to work, and the last few days i wore them while hiking in the mountains to see how they would hold up. After a week of wearing these boots, the sole began to seperate from the boot again. I really wanted to like these boots thats why i gave them a second chance. I am extremely disappointed that i paid 240 dollars for a pair of boots TWICE, only to have them fall apart immediately. It would take alot for me to go back to buying thorogood boots ever again. One star for quality and time wasted. ... show more

  • Nice boots
Size: 11 Wide Color: Briar Pitstop
These come with the safety toe, it doesn’t say that in the description, but they are very comfortable once you get them broke in.

  • He’s been an Ironworker for over 26 years…
Size: 11.5 Wide Color: Briar Pitstop
I basically made him get these boots. We watched and read TONS of reviews. He is a bit old school and was used to wearing Die Hards. He works in the rod patch normally so his boots take a beating. He said these were THE BEST BOOTS HE’S EVER WORN! Zero break in and the most comfortable thing he’s put on his feet, so much so I’m ordering a second pair for him to wear when he’s not working. Only down side is we know that because the leather is soft, they are gonna get scratched and scuffed, but the comfort outweighs that for him. He loves that they have a wide toe box but still formed his feet. Sizing was spot on! ... show more

  • They seem well made.
Size: 9.5 Color: Briar Pitstop
I bought these boots for work, so I will update this if they prove to not be as tough as they seem. Out of the box they seem very well made, and despite needing some break in (as all boots do) they are much more comfortable than usual, I expect they will be very comfortable after a couple weeks of regular use. The leather seems high quality, and the toe box is extremely stiff (a good sign that they didn't skimp there). Once they are broken in I will treat them and start using them, if they last more than a year and remain comfortable, I would say money well spent. They do look pretty sharp when new and clean also, I might order a second pair for casual use with jeans, with the plan of having them become work boots to replace the current pair. ... show more
