This is my sixth pair of these boots and I refuse to wear anything else to work in. I’m a welder/pipefitter/fabricator and these hold up well and are the best boot for stomping concrete all day. I tried a pair of Brunt boots and they were terrible. I returned them the day after I received them. I went back to these and won’t buy anything else from here on out. I was hesitant to buy these at $300 because I go through a pair a year and consider boots disposable. First, I broke them in within the first week, they fit like a glove and my feet are not as sore as usual. they are warm and seem at least water resistant so far. I feel like if I take care of them they may last more than a year. The only downside for me is the lacing. I knew that when I bought them but I would get lace ups with zippers next time. Hopefully that won't be for a while. I use them for work and MC riding. The tie is a little high for shifting but I think I will get used to it. These boots are typically really good. It’s the seller unfortunately I’m complaining about. Boots came on a knockoff box claiming it was damaged on the way when worn to work the left shoe was so uncomfortable and unwearable so we tried to return because obviously this seller has defective boots and they sell crap but they would not give money back because boots were worn even though they are selling messed up boots ... show more

These are very good boots. I put them through a lot, over five thousand miles in thirteen months, but they've held up quite well. I basically made him get these boots. We watched and read TONS of reviews. He is a bit old school and was used to wearing Die Hards. He works in the rod patch normally so his boots take a beating. He said these were THE BEST BOOTS HE’S EVER WORN! Zero break in and the most comfortable thing he’s put on his feet, so much so I’m ordering a second pair for him to wear when he’s not working. Only down side is we know that because the leather is soft, they are gonna get scratched and scuffed, but the comfort outweighs that for him. Thankful these were available on Amazon. Our one son ordered because they came in size 15 EEEE. Then our oldest son ordered a pair. They love them. Even after over a month of owning them, you can still smell the leather. They love that they're made in the USA. Super comfortable workboot.
