  • Needs to be broken in and treated with oil befoee they really fit well.
Size: 12 Wide Color: Crazyhorse
I boyght these at a local shop but they didnt have wides after realising the first pair I had were going to be too tight I ourchased them in a size up and in 2E wide. They still were rough. I wore them around the house for a week than applied some mink oil over the weekend and they fit like a glove now. They are loose in the heel like noted in other reviews you just have to make sure their tight. The bad reviews are from people who likley never worked in the industry. You need to break these bad boys in. The link oil really helped with the odd preasures I got around my ankles. Once they were treated they fealt allot nicer around the ankle. When I walk in them the way the sole is made your foot almost rolls on the ground as you walk as alowed to coming down to a flat foot position. It keeps your feet in a confrtible position as you stride. Very high quality boots I am very pleased with them. ... show more

Made in the USA! PERIOD. GREAT pair of boots. Craftsmanship is impressive.

  • Even the Wide is Narrow Even the Wide is Narrow
Size: 11 Wide Color: Crazyhorse
So far, one week in, had to go up a whole size to get something where the steel toe wasn't digging in. Very tight on the sides still, but I think they will break in. I was really shocked and annoyed by the tongue, but as many people point out, you just have to break it in. A serious pain the first few times you do it, but eventually it will lay flat. I recommend pulling and stretching it, since most of the problem is the liner, not the leather. The finish is a bit inconsistent from one boot to the other, (stitching, shape, alignment) but as they are hand made, I'll let that slide. Otherwise they seem really tough and provide great ankle support. Once you get the insole lined up right (also a pain) they are reasonably comfortable to wear all day. ... show more

  • Great Fit

My grandson loves them. He said perfect fit and color.

  • Tight and loose at the same time. Garbage boot.
Size: 10.5 Wide Color: Crazyhorse
I got a 10.5 wide and clearly not a normal size from other work boots. My last several pairs of boots (Georgia's all) fit perfect at 10.5 wide. My pinky toe didn't even make it inside the safety toe on these, and they are the tightest most uncomfortable boot I have ever stuck my foot into. EXTREMELY tight, yet the ankle loose and the boot flops around without cinching the laces as tight as you can, then the already tight boot is even tighter on your foot. I wore it for literally 2 minutes trying to give it the benefit of the doubt before I had to get off my foot which was starting to hurt. 0/5 if I could. Returning immediately. ... show more

  • Ridiculously comfy!
Size: 11.5 Color: Dark Brown
The most comfortable boots ever!! Very well made and identically matched. Get some decent wool socks and you're golden (doesn't have to be fancy expensive). Don't know why some complained about the tongue; you just have to ensure its flattened and creased on the sides when you lace up the first week or so of wear and it'll stay. My only complaint is that they RUN VERY LARGE. My foot is literally 11.5 inches long and I wear a 13 or 12 in everything else. But I had to get the 11.5 size boot. To be fair, I think the sizing is like this for most work/safety boots and boots with no laces like cowboy boots. Lastly, don't oil or wax them! Wait several months or more to at least to break in since many of those will clog up the pours or attract dirt and look bad. They're already 'x-stream waterproof' but if you're really soaking them everyday then you probably already know you need bees wax or something. If you're unsure, then stay away. ... show more

  • Tongue design is flawed
Size: 9.5 Wide Color: Briar Pitstop
The tongue design is flawed. It is attached too high and creates a pressure point on the ankle. The left pair is fine but right pair bunched up and makes them super uncomfortable. I doubt they’d ever break in. I have other pairs with thinner leather but the tongue is also attached much lower. They need to revisit the design ... show more

  • not cheap, but durable and comfortable.
Size: 11.5 Wide Color: Briar Pitstop
I chew through Boots like crazy with my weight & long hours of standing, walking, crouching. Whatever it is, 6 months and a pair of shoes were in the trash and new ones ordered. These boots however, have earned my respect, price tag is a little steep, however you definitely get what you pay for. Ive beat the crap out of these things and they have no tears, or show any signs of giving up. You do however need to care for them. Make sure to clean them somewhat regularly, give them some oil. treat them right and they will last a very long time. ... show more
