I’ve been on an ultimate boot quest since I got in the trades. As a plumber, I love these are waterproof. I stand in muddy trenches a lot and these keep my feet dry. They’re beautiful boots, I sized down a half size they were tight for a week now they’re perfect. Comfortable all day long. I wear them about 60 hrs. A week. I love everything about them so far, let’s see if they hold up as long as the red wing 405 model. Well worth the money so far.

Best work boot I’ve ever had! When it comes to durability and comfort Thorogood boots are second to none I have bought most big name boot there is and none compare. I’ve purchased Thorogood 3 straight times each pair I would get 4 to 5 yrs out of them and could have worn them longer. I do commercial sheet metal work on my feet all day and these boots are as comfortable as my sneakers. I’ve had this pair 8 months and they are in great condition

First of all I would like to start by saying that I personally think Thorogood boots are some of the best boots I have ever worn, Compared to the timberlands and redwings of the world these boots are just better. I have owned a pair of thorogood boots for the last 3-4 years and worked in them everyday anywhere from 8-16+ hour shifts and they never let me down until the waterproofing finally gave out, I definitely got my money's worth out of those things. If your buying these for work I can with 100% confidence tell you that they are the best your gonna get and would definitely recommend to a friend. Now down to the problem I am having with this particular pair that was sent to me by amazon I don't know what happened with this pair of boots when they were being made but they aren't made right. The right boot looks normal and like it was made by a professional but the left boot looks like a cheap knock off with no quality control... I am returning this and ordering a new pair hopefully they don't look completely different when I get them. temporary low rating because of this issue. edit: They sent out a new pair of boots and they look good, From looking at other reviews it seems like I'm not the only person that this happened to... might as well get these boots at a physical location.

I hate giving them a 3 ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ because they seem well built. Once I finally got them on they feel fairly comfortable. I usually wear a 10.5 wide and have no problem fitting to most of the other brands. I had to do contortions getting in to them. They were a struggle getting on. I think I'll try and keep them and hopefully they will stretch out.

I'm growing to like these boots more and more. I've had the regular moc toe ones, but I thought I'd take a chance on these because I liked the look of them. The main difference is that these have a lining and padded tongue. I think I still prefer their plain leather boot, although winter is coming, so let's see if I change my mind.

I just got these and wore them for most of a day in summer heat. The first thing I noticed is that they appear to be insulated but there is no mention of it on the page. It could just be the moisture wicking fabric for waterproofing but feels like insulation and definitely were hotter that I expected since I got these primarily for use in the summer months. The other thing to take note. It took me a bit to get the lace up right. Where the tongue joins the boot landed right on my ankle. Having bony ankle that was very uncomfortable. I had to get the tongue crease pushed down right ti sit below my ankle.

I have owned my 8-inch Thorogood boots for 15 years now and have had them resoled twice. They are a high quality pair of boots that have stood the test of time and only become better with age, and now fit like a glove. I recently purchased a pair of waterproof six-inch boots from Thorogood and expect them to be the last pair of winter boots I'll ever own. They may seem a bit pricey, but if you can afford it, In my opinion, it is worth it to invest in a pair of boots that will last a lifetime and only get better with age. To maintain the quality of these boots, I recommend regularly cleaning with saddle soap and applying shoe polish. Overall, I highly recommend Thorogood boots.
