How often should I use Twenty Up? You can use it daily. Adjust the mode based on your skin's needs, but avoid overuse. How long should each session be? Approximately 3-5 minutes per facial area is recommended. For a full-face session, use for about 12 minutes total. We recommend once daily. Can I use it on visible blemishes? For highly sensitive or visibly stressed-looking skin, we recommend using only as suitable for your skin condition. Twenty Up is best for post-blemish-looking, calming care and helping maintain a clearer, balanced-looking complexion. Do I need to wipe off residual cream or ampoule after use? No need to wipe off. Gently massage any remaining product into your skin for full absorption. Can I use an express charger? For stable and long-term use, we highly recommend using a standard 5V/1A power adapter. Full disclosure: I'm 46, so twice the recommended age for this particular device, and I also do not have blemish-prone skin. I ordered this because it offers the same ultrasound frequencies as the Thome "The Glow Signature" device, in a more compact and travel-friendly size. The differences between the two seem small: different size, different shape head, different run time for each frequency, and the TwentyUp uses a light indicator to let you know when to switch sides/when the frequency changes rather than a sound. I'm okay with all that in exchange for a more compact device. Calling this or expecting a facial massager may not be the most accurate description. Yes, there is the facet of manual massage, similar to what you'd get from a manual-only tool, but there isn't really a palpable vibration or sensation like you'd get with microcurrent or EMS. Ultrasound vibrations are high-frequency and used more for topical product absorption than for muscle stimulation,, and this is where the TwentyUp shines. I love to layer skincare and have often wondered if everything is really absorbing as well as it could; with this, I feel a little more confident I'm really getting product benefits. The choice of a serum to use with this can be tricky. Anything that absorbs or dries too quickly will lead to minor frustration, but a plain conductive gel without actives might not be the best choice if looking for absorption of key ingredients. I've had the best luck with the Thome Peptide Boost Ampoule or with Volufiline-containing gel creams, as they provide good slip and contain ingredients that address the elasticity loss I'm trying to prevent. The key here is finding a serum that has target ingredients AND enough staying power to last through the entire treatment. I am pretty obsessed with beauty devices and own several. I think this is one of the easiest to use, with a single button, a comfortable flat head, and a pleasant sensation that doesn't feel strong or overwhelming. Don't get me wrong, I love microcurrent and EMS, but this device is a nice break from the more intense treatments. It is a good option for when I want something that feels simpler, and would be great for a starter device for anyone at any age, or for those who find microcurrent or EMS unpleasant. This device charges easily and holds enough charge for several treatments. Its small size makes it perfect for travel, or even if you just have limited space. I've been using this a few times a week for about six weeks, and I really do notice a difference in hydration and elasticity, and feel like my skin is absorbing my serums more completely. This makes a nice ritual out of my skincare routine without being something difficult or annoying to maintain. I did call this out as a good starter device, but honestly I think any beauty device lover would benefit from adding this to their collection.

As I age...I'm 59...I am trying different things to help with that aging process. While good genes see to it that I don't have wrinkles I do notice my skin isn't quite as dewy/ glowy as it was. I have tried red light and I still have yet to determine if that is working. Look I don't expect to look twenty nor do I expect to look like I came from having a facelift. I acknowledge there is only so much these various tools and devices can do. So when I saw this massager from THOME I really wanted to give it a try. Unit charged up just fine. Directions are pretty basic bare bones so it's really kind of do with it what you will type of thing lol. I tried several different serums I have on hand to use with this. Too thin and it dissipates too quickly. Too thick and it doesn't seem to do anything. So I found one that more lotion but still in the serum family that worked the best. I do not have fragile skin nor do I have dry skin. I have the whole T-zone thing going on so the only areas I tried this out on are basically jawline/ under jaw and cheeks. This is not a massager as you would think.. from what I can determine this is an ultrasonic unit so you do not feel it vibrate. It gets slightly warm. NOT hot and not uncomfortable. There is a slight wooshing...for lack of a better word lol sound but that's about it. I used the yellow mode because as mentioned I do not have sensitive skin. Weight of the unit is fine. It fits in the hand well and due to the length of time recommended/ required you really don't want anything too heavy. I'm honestly not sure how I feel about it. I KNOW it's not going to work overnight. That being said I find twelve minutes to be an extremely long time for use. I did one twelve minute session and it seemed to go on forever. It does not let you know when the halfway point...6 minutes is...so you can move to the other side of your face. I tried it several more times at 6 minutes and wonder if that is enough to see any results down the road. Even six minutes for me...the basic chick...is loooong lol. I don't see myself ever doing a full twelve minute session. Couple that with the higher price point...You really have to be committed to a skin care routine for that. That being said if long term it works then the price point wouldn't even be a factor. I'd say personally it's a three based on the length of time BUT it does do everything it is supposed to and works decently so in the interest of fairness I am giving this a four.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THOME but I think it was a mistake to call this a "beauty massager" in the English translation. I think many of the disappointed reviews here can be explained by people expecting a tradition vibrating or pulsing massager like a facial massage gun and that is not what this is. It is an ultrasonic beauty device designed to be an at-home version of what would be used in a Korean clinic. You won't really feel much of anything massage-wise, and you aren't supposed to. Think of it more like a red light device, and that's a lot closer to what to expect here, just with a manual gua sha-like component to it. When ordering this, I looked up a lot of reviews and from what I understand, this is the more "basic" and "weaker" version as compared to the adult model (the glow signature, which is also more expensive). I intentionally chose it because of that, as even though I'm in my 40s, I have very sensitive, eczema and rosacea-prone skin and I typically avoid devices as I am a little bit way of stronger currents and my compromised skin barrier. So for me, this being gentler is better; as you can see from other reviews though, if you are used to beauty devices or you want a stronger experience, this might not be for you. Other than that difference, the adult model also apparently talks to you to tell you when the session is over. This one doesn't and just uses a light on the base of the device that indicates it is working. It also turns itself off automatically when the session is done, but you'd probably need to use a timer if you want to spend equal amounts of time on the various parts of your face. It is also angled slightly differently, with the adult model being more higher-end overall but not drastically different. I think it's a great intro device for everyone, not just teens and 20-somethings, especially as it has two settings and one is just centered on allowing skincare to penetrate better and improving how makeup sits. This is not a result that happens at the end of an individual 12-minute session, but is a result of using the device consistently over time to improve your skin barrier. So if you are expecting immediate results with this, you will also be disappointed, as that is not how it is designed. You must use this with a serum or ampoule so you can slide it across your face. I don't have the THOME serum (someone grabbed it before I could), but I used a serum with a fair degree of viscosity so you get "glide" like you would want with gua sha. I personally like this more than microcurrent devices or spicule-based skincare products in terms of helping my skin without also causing temporary/minor damage to induce a healing response. As to whether it is worth the money, just remember that this is the equivalent of an introductory model and is best for younger users and device beginners rather than seasons users with multiple devices. For that type of seasoned user, the Glow Signature is probably more your speed. Hope that helps!

I’ve Tried Dozens of Skincare Devices. Here’s What This One Does and Doesn’t Do and Why I find beauty devices very difficult to evaluate based on the marketing info alone. But at this point, through Vine, I’ve tried and evaluated over 50 of these devices, and of course, I have several devices that I own and purchased outside of Vine. Most people aren’t going to buy over 50 devices to see what works for them (yea, even I'm not doing that), ➜ so this review is geared more toward sharing what I’ve learned about how to evaluate these devices without actually buying and using them. That way you can at least narrow down your options. 💗 NEWSFLASH 💗 This is an Ultrasound device! Ultrasound is one of the least commercialized skincare technologies. It’s harder to engineer, more expensive to build, and it can’t be "duped" with cheap parts. That’s why LED, microcurrent, and EMS devices are everywhere, but there are almost no ultrasound devices. When you do find one, it’s usually either a clinic machine or a Korean home‑use device like this. And congrats to both of us because we found one of those sought after but illusive Ultrasound devices here on Amazon! ⭐ TLDR: THIS IS AN ULTRASOUND DEVICE. IT’S GENTLE, DAILY‑SAFE, WELL‑BUILT, AND DESIGNED FOR GLOW, HYDRATION, AND REDNESS REDUCTION. IT’S NOT A LIFTING TOOL, NOT A WRINKLE TOOL, AND NOT A MUSCLE TOOL. BUT FOR REDNESS, SENSITIVITY, AND BARRIER ISSUES, THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST DEVICES I’VE USED. 💚 I’ve been using this THOME Twenty Up device every evening for about a month. I use it after cleansing and applying my evening serum but before my face cream. And because I avoid silicones and film formers at night, this fits perfectly into my routine. After 30 days, I’ve seen a real improvement in my redness. Not a miracle, not overnight, but steady and noticeable, and the results last and keep improving, YAY! This handles redness differently from LED (which I also use regularly), but I love this device because it's so fast and easy to use. LONGFORM REVIEW (you’ve been warned!) ➡️ WHAT THE DESCRIPTION OF THIS DEVICE SAYS IT DOES This device uses dual‑frequency cosmetic ultrasound (3 MHz + 10 MHz) to support: - glow - hydration - redness reduction - calming - barrier support ➜ This does not claim lifting, tightening, wrinkle reduction, or muscle stimulation. ➡️ WHAT ULTRASOUND IS AND WHY IT’S DIFFERENT ➜ Ultrasound is acoustic energy. It moves water inside the skin, helps serums settle more evenly, and calms inflammation. ➜ This Thome device uses the frequencies of ultrasound which are shallow and gentle. It doesn’t heat tissue, doesn’t zap, doesn’t stimulate muscles, and is easy and relaxing to use, no discomfort at all. ➜ In contrast, there are medical ultrasound devices (for "ultherapy") used in clinical settings that use frequencies of 1–4 MHz ultrasound at high power, focused into a tiny point under the skin. That focal point heats tissue to a temperature that stimulates collagen for skin tightening. I've had this done and it's uncomfortable but works well for things like jawline sculpting. ➡️ WHY AT HOME ULTRASOUND DEVICES ARE RARE COMPARE TO OTHER SKINCARE DEVICES ➜ The bottom line is that Ultrasound requires pricey components that really can't be "combined" with other treatments. Ultrasound needs a real piezoelectric transducer, stable frequency output, acoustic tuning, safe power modulation ➜ In comparison, LED, EMS, and microcurrent CAN be cheap to produce. Sure the good one's aren't, but there really isn't a way to deliver a cheap Ultrasound device, or even something that looks like a cheap Ultrasound device. if you know what I mean. ➡️ WHAT THIS DEVICE ACTUALLY DOES: MY RESULTS AFTER 30 DAYS AND MY ROUTINE ➜ This device uses dual‑frequency switching (3 MHz ↔ 10 MHz), similar to "cosmetic" ultrasound used in clinics for redness and hydration. The 10 MHz frequency supports glow and surface hydration. The 3 MHz frequency supports deeper hydration and calming. ➜ After using this nightly for 30 days by redness is significantly reduced. I use "night mode", and apply my serum first then use the wand for the full treatment of about 12 minutes. ➜ I didn't notice a dramatic overnight change, but I did get a real steady improvement and the results have lasted better than other treatments. This is the best device I’ve used that handles redness with lasting results and my skin looks and feel glowy but not red! ➡️ WHAT SERUMS WORK WITH ULTRASOUND: AVOID SILICONES, ACIDS, RETINOIDS ➜ Ultrasound needs water to transmit energy. Anything that blocks water stops ultrasound from working. The issue is that so many serums (particularly KBeauty serums) use silicones and/or film formers. Here's my cheat sheet on what serums work and which don't in general. ➜ GOOD SERUMS UNDER ULTRASOUND - centella - oat - panthenol - ceramides (water‑based) - niacinamide 2–5% - azelaic 5–10% - PDRN - low‑weight hyaluronic acid - aloe - beta‑glucan ➜ NOT GOOD UNDER ULTRASOUND: So many serums use Film Formers and/or Silicones. Scan the ingredient list for anything ending in cone, siloxane, acrylate, polymer, or copolymer. Dimethicone is the most common silicone. Here's a list of what serum ingredients to avoid. - silicones - film formers - oils - thick occlusives - tightening gels - blurring serums - strong acids - retinoids ➡️ BUILD AND USABILITY: EXCELLENT DEVICE QUALITY AND CLEAR INSTRUCTIONS ✅ Solid build ✅ Lightweight ✅ Easy to maneuver ✅ Clear modes ✅ Good Battery Life ➡️ COMPANY SUPPORT THOME is a small Korean beauty‑device brand. Their devices are consistent, their manuals are clear. They are a popular choice on Olive Young (a well known Korean Beauty site) and have their own company website. 💛 FINAL TAKE I like this device because it focuses on one technology and does it well. It’s gentle, daily‑safe, and supports glow, hydration, and redness reduction. It doesn’t replace lifting devices or wrinkle devices, but it fills a gap in my routine that nothing else covers. 💜 Most importantly, it has improved my redness and made my skin tone beautiful. Not a dramatic overnight change, but a real improvement over time that lasts. And because I use it in the evening after cleansing and applying my serum but before my face cream, it fits perfectly into my routine. 💚 If you’re looking for a device that supports skin comfort, hydration, glow, and redness reduction, this is a great option. I got to try the Thome Twenty Up Device. This is the first facial device I have ever tried before. It is very easy to set up and to use. I was surprised after using it that it is classified as a massager because I do not feel it massages my face at all. When I use it, it does get warm on the skin and make me feel like my product is soaking in better than just using my hands. Personally, I felt like 12 minutes to use it was a bit long, as my product had dried well before that mark. If you are looking for a gentle product to help your skin barrier and product absorption I do think this does the trick. I would like to try other facial devices to see what the difference is and what my personal preference is.

I've tried a large variety of US + Korean skincare devices and was surprised by this one. A lot of devices end up feeling like a lowkey tens unit on my face and my eyes end up watering and twitching. It's not painful, but not fun either. I know sometimes folks equate pain with efficacy, but that really isn't always the case. I have a nuface mini and it feels like nothing is happening, but it helps to contour and lift. The Thome device is unique from most skincare devices that focus on lifting/firming/smoothing wrinkles or increasing absorption of products. This device has an every day radiance mode (focused on product absorption, hydration, smoothing) and a calming mode (focused on soothing skin, addressing inflammation from breakouts etc). My skin has been in recovery mode for a couple weeks after a mishap with a rx skincare product that the pharmacy switched the brand on me and I didn't notice until my skin got irritated. My skin has been itchy, dry and tight as it recovers and after using the Thome device + a hydrating toner, my skin actually was less red and it felt + looked calmer/less itchy, I was honestly surprised. The next morning my skin looked calm, smoother and just more healthy! In the AM I use this with my serums to help them absorb better. After using this, my skin looks like it has more life and is smoother + softer. I also sometimes use an ultrasound gel/conductive gel with the device for PM care as the gel gives more slip/gliding abilities to the device. The modes are set to auto run for 6 minutes each. I dont always use it for the full 6 minutes and often its just a couple as I have 2 littles so my skincare routine generally has to be shorter. I still see the impact of the device even when I don't use it for the full 6 minutes. It's easy to integrate into my AM or PM routine. The device is lightweight and has a small footprint so it's easy to store and take with my traveling. I love that it has a lid for the top to protect the head. It's easy to wipe off/clean the head. It charges easily as well and comes with a cable. I really love it!

I was really unsure how to rate this. The thing is - it doesn't really DO anything, and the instructions offer little help. They will tell you the device uses hertz waves to reduce inflammation but doesn't tell you how or why it works or what it feels like. You need a cream or serum. You hold the power button on the bottom to turn it on, and it just SOFTLY pulses from within the machine, and i guess you are supposed to get the waves through the metal part on the tip? Honestly, holding a device to my face for 12 minutes at a sit, when I don't even know if it's working right is a big ask. I had to read other reviews to see if mine might be broken. I like a facial massager that, you know, massages. This is not that. This supposedly does something to the skin cells to help lotion to sink in. It's marketed to young people but it's better for mature faces, honestly. They are missing a huge chunk of the market for skin hydration. I just don't have the patience to sit there and hold something to my face for that long if i can't feel it working, or at least understand the science behind it. Otherwise, it's well made, small enough to be stuck into your purse. It's easy to use. Isn't painful or anything. It's just a lot of money to spend without more than just "feel the tube vibrate and trust that will somehow translate into smoother skin tomorrow". I didn't notice a difference the next day, but i haven't yet made it the whole 12 minutes, either.

I’ll admit, the marketing around this device made me curious but also a little skeptical. It is heavily marketed toward people in their 20s, but as someone who is 52, post-menopausal, and has mature dry skin, I actually think my skin type may benefit from this kind of device even more. This is not the same type of device as my other skincare tools. I regularly use both the Medicube Age-R and the CurrentBody RF device, and this is a completely different technology with a different purpose. It is not designed for lifting, contouring, tightening, or wrinkle reduction. Instead, it uses 3MHz/10MHz dual-wave ultrasound technology and appears focused on improving product absorption, hydration, skin comfort, and overall skin quality. The device itself is extremely easy to use. There is no pain, no tingling, and honestly you do not really feel much of anything while using it. It makes a soft pulsing sound during treatment and the metal treatment head becomes slightly warm, but never hot or uncomfortable. The entire experience is very gentle. One thing I learned quickly is that you need a serum or ampoule with enough slip. Thin watery products absorb too fast, while a thicker hydrating serum glides much more easily and allows the device to move comfortably across the skin. What surprised me most was that I did not see a dramatic difference immediately after treatment. The real difference showed up the next morning. My skin looked noticeably more hydrated, felt softer, and had a plumper appearance. It wasn’t a dramatic “before and after” transformation, but it was enough that I immediately noticed my skin looked healthier and better hydrated than usual. I also spent some time researching the company behind the device. The manufacturer, EASYTEM, has been developing medical and beauty technology since 2008 and holds ISO 13485 certification for medical-device quality systems. They are not simply a skincare brand selling a generic beauty gadget. They are an established Korean ODM/OEM manufacturer that develops beauty technology for other brands as well. One detail that stood out to me was their collaboration with Amorepacific, one of the largest and most respected beauty companies in South Korea and the parent company behind luxury brands such as Sulwhasoo, Hera, IOPE, Amorepacific, and Laneige. Seeing that level of industry involvement gave me additional confidence that there is legitimate research and engineering behind this device. For my skin, this will not replace my Medicube Age-R or my CurrentBody RF because those devices serve different purposes. I use those for technologies aimed at firming, tightening, and overall anti-aging support. This device fits into my routine differently. I see it more as a hydration and absorption tool that helps skincare perform better and leaves my skin feeling more comfortable and moisturized. Despite the marketing being directed toward younger consumers, I honestly think mature, dry, post-menopausal skin may appreciate this device even more. Younger skin already tends to retain moisture well. Dry mature skin often struggles with hydration, and that is where I noticed the biggest benefit. If you’re looking for a device that lifts sagging skin or erases wrinkles overnight, this isn’t that device. If you’re looking for a gentle, comfortable treatment that appears to enhance hydration, improve product absorption, and leave skin looking softer and plumper by the next morning, I think this device is worth considering.
