- STABLE AND NO TANGLES: The most important feature of the line winder is that it fills the reel without twisting or tangling. The tension is controlled by double headed fastening springs on each side of the spool and the cone washers, which works well even with large spools. Winding at the proper tension eliminates twisting of the wire and the line is always tight and evenly filled.
- DURABLE AND CONVENIENT: The fishing line spooler has rubber pads for holding the device more firmly on place. The rubber pad can with stand the tension of the line and protect the fishing rod from damage. This line spooler is made of aluminum and is equipped with an ABS plastic structure, so making it light and portable. Not only is line spooler resistant to corrosion and damage, but it also provides a solid base for holding a spool of line.
- COMPATIBLE WITH VARIOUS SPOOLS: The fishing line spooler works with braided line, flurocarbon fishing line and monofilament fishing line. Able to hold multiple spools at the same time. The diameter of the spring shaft rod is 0.31in(8mm), and the line spools smaller than 0.31in(8mm) will not pass. The maximium spool width is 3.15in/80mm. Ease of use in handling any type of line and/or reel.
- GREAT ADDITION TO FISHING GEAR: Fishing line spooler-rod clamp: The line spooler clamp can hold the rod from 0.26"(6.5mm)-0.67"(17mm) in diameter. Fishing line spooler-table clamp: The line spooler clamp can hold the tmaximum thickness of 2.44"(62mm). The spooler is very easy to assemble and the trick is to start slowly, and then gradually wind the wire at uniform speed. Absolutely no line twist in reels.

The media could not be loaded. Works good but the aluminum rod that the compression coupling compress to gets all maxed and gouged when the set screw is set other down side is the spring presses into the rubber and gouges into the rubber

I ordered the KastKing Kalibrate Fishing Line Spooler first but returned it do to working issues. This device is a 100% better. Easy to set up and adjust tension. I installed line on my real in just a few minutes. I would definitely recommend it.

Color: A -Short- Line Spooler
I ordered mine on 4/10 and it arrived ONE DAY LATER !!. I added new line to 8 casting and spinning reels. Forger about the spoolers using a suction cup, they come loose. This one uses a clamp and I attached mine to a folding table leaf. The spooler itself screws into the clamp and has a nut to tighten with a 9/16 wrench. Everything worked fine. I did learn that when using either mono or fluoro that tightening the line spool a bit tighter helped to avoid line overruns. Braided line is easy as pie. Couple of hints for those who might be unaware: have the line come over the top of the spool when adding to a casting reel while having the line come off the bottom of the spool with spinning reels. This minimizes line twist while respooling. New line should always be run into the water ( no lures attached ) by boaters. Shore fishermen can add a heavy nut to the line and run it on dry land prior to reeling. When using spinning reels I learned many years ago from a pro angler to never close the bail with the reel handle as this adds a bit of twist to the line. Close the bail by hand. In closing this is a neat tool at very low cost so you won't need a buddy holding the spool and a pencil.

This one can be placed almost anywhere. The suction cup design is bad because you need a perfectly flat surface. This version is much more versatile! Works as intended and the despooler works well with any drill

Great little product. There's lots of gimmicks out there for spooling fishing line on a reel but this one is simple, fairly priced and very effective. This would be the perfect thing to take on vacation and just clamp it to a picnic table, spool up and hit the water!
