I must admit this is a surprisingly good little buffer. So far I've used it on one of our cars, and it made the job much easier. I have another car to do detail and am confident this little buffer will make that job that much earier as well. The pads that come with it are not going to last for to long so expect to order additional pads as you do your projects. So far it's a darn good machine. Our cars are in good shape so the load put on the buffer was more polishing than "rubbing out" defects. Works well for applying polishing and buffing off the wax. Speed control is very handy and easy to use. It is light weight which a nice feature. ... show more

Had no issues, worked great. Never used one before so the variable speed was great for a first timer but once I had the knack, I kept it on high. Great having the various bonnets but I wish the bonnets were marked what they are for, as I said, I am a first timer. Pics of before the buffer and after.... be sure to use the right compound and waxes so you don't destroy the paint. ... show more

Bought this for my husband for Xmas to buff our RV. In the first hour it seemed fine as the 10 inch head covered a lot of area. During the second hour, the bearings seemed to come loose and the buffer made a loud racket, and was very unstable in his hands. Very disappointing gift.
