The media could not be loaded. Unpacking/Assembly The box that this treadmill is shipped in is protected with custom made polyurethane foam pieces to insure that it is not damaged in shipment. There is really no assembly required for this product. The assembly in the supplied instructions for me was more for out to setup for operation and storage. You are only minutes away from exercise when you get this out of the packaging. There is maintenance kit supplied with the unit that includes silicon oil and hex wrench. These items are only used for preventative maintenance and not needed until significant use has resulted. Lock the upright in place, connect to your household power outlet and you are ready to go. It is that simple and no tools are required. The uprights that hold the controls and tablet holders is constructed of steel and painted for protection. It provides a nice and secure feeling when it is being used and retracted for storage. That is one of big pluses for this unit is in the way the uprights are effective during operation and quickly rotated flat for storage. The uprights are locked into place with a quick turn on the toggle locks. The lock has 2 positions (lock/unlocked) that restricts the movement. There are toggle locks for each side that also give it a firm lock when it is being used or stored. If you had a storage spot that could handle a 55 inch x 26.5 inch x 3.75 inch, you can treadmill out of the way and out of sight Operation This treadmill operates at fairly low noise level and should not disturb others in your house. During use it is remains in its location and is firmly planted to the floor. The belt tracks well and have not seen any side movement during our use of several hours. There are several large pads that support the frame that protects the floor underneath. The unit has a digital readout that gives performance information of Speed, Calories, Time, and Distance. It is located at the bottom front of the base and can be easily seen from the standing position. You can control the speed, start, and stop from the handheld remote control or the control panel just below the reading stand. The remote control has a neat and well thought out location in the base of the unit that it is held in place when not in use. So many times you can’t find where a remote is and this solves that for you in this dedicated pocket. You can also leave it there during operation and just use the controls on the stand. There is also safety cord that if attach it to your clothing, the unit will stop if it is detached from it’s magnetic base. If you don’t want to use that feature, the cord can be wrapped around the upper support. Storage The unit would be ideal for a user that did not have space for exercise in their location. This unit could easily be placed under a couch or closet for storage. It has on its front edge a set of rollers that allow the unit to be positioned without lifting or dragging. The rollers will contact the floor when the unit is raised on the back edge and angled upward. This is nothing to engage or retract when it comes to the storage rollers. Construction The frame of the unit is steel, painted, and most importantly has welded construction. The gives the unit its firm feel during operation and storage. The unit is skinned nicely with plastic covers that are not fragile. The belt has a small grid pattern texture and is effective in providing a non-skid surface. Conclusion The unit checks all of the boxes for ease of use, rigid construction, and performance. I don’t think you can go wrong if you are looking for big gym performance in a small footprint. This would be perfect in an apartment situation, office space, or living room. We also own a large gym grade Pro-form unit that is large, heavy, and loud during operation. It can be folded up to store. It does not take up that much space so it is very handy to have. I can not run on it because of artificial joints but walking is easy and it has multiple adjustable speeds. It gives you a continuous readout of your progress. It has a stand that supports my iPad so I can read while walking. It has automatic stopping feature if you slip off the treadmill while walking. It comes ready to use you do not have to put it together. It is a bit heavy so you may need two people to carry it into the house and set it up It is well packed and has protected corners in the packing box to prevent damage in shipment.     • Well built and easy to use, but inaccurate display

I wanted to get a treadmill for home use due to several medical issues that make exercise elsewhere difficult. I did a TON of research before ordering, and selected another brand based on that research. It was DOA, and although the seller was very helpful, ultimately it could not be fixed. I got a refund, and my search began again. The brand was LSRZSport, and it came with good reviews and great packaging. However, it did not work from the jump. The reviews have gotten worse since I ordered. I get it. HELPFUL HINT: I needed a treadmill that fit under my couch, as I have a small condo. I had purchased new sofa legs already for the first one, just to give me five inches of clearance to store my treadmill easily. You may need to do the same; it's quite easy to switch out sofa legs, as they are pretty much standard and just screw right in. Look at yours before ordering replacements so you know what you need! Amazon has many options at many price points. The 2" height difference for sitting was only noticeable for the first few days, and we are both under 5'6", so no worries there! This treadmill was a huge upgrade at a slightly higher price than my first try. The packaging was actually not as good as the first one, and arrived torn with part of the treadmill exposed. Careful inspection revealed no damage. It set up easily and worked properly right away. PROS: It is a very solidly built machine. The build quality is high, the crossbar is very easy to lock and unlock, the device holder on the crossbar is easy to position and can accommodate a tablet, and the remote stores securely onboard. It feels solid underfoot but not hard, and it is easy to adjust speed (and too easy to accidentally change if you hold the crossbar when using). I have not tried the speakers yet, so no comment. It stores invisibly under my sofa, and although the wheels are fixed rather than multi-directional, on my hard floors it gives no resistance. It may be more of an issue on carpet. The deck size is larger than most, which is a huge plus. The jump rails are very sturdy as well. CONS As other reviewers have pointed out, the display with speed, time, and calories burned is VERY inaccurate. The timer is accurate, BUT... If I set a speed of 3mph and walk for twenty minutes, then I should see a distance of one mile. Basic math. The machine tells me I walked 1.5 miles, or 0.8 miles, or something else other than one mile. As for calories burned, it is harder to pinpoint, but after consulting a few sources, I should burn about 75 calories in the above scenario. The treadmill says 28-30. This feature is not super important to me, as I am okay with taking a moment to do the math myself, and I'm just staying mobile. How many calories you burn depends on your weight, speed, and distance. These data are not programmable on this model that I can determine. That said, if they're going to put this feature in the product, it should work properly. The other negatives: the crossbar does not lock in the collapsed position, making it awkward and borderline unsafe to roll for storage. There is no logical place to hold onto when putting it away. We are not so young these days, so safe and easy matters. It is something I consider in ALL purchases that will be affected by aging. I would also prefer the plug be at the back, but I have the proper grounded extension cord, so whatever! The motor is at the front, so I get it. The on/off switch is a bit awkward as well. It is not visible except from floor level, and it is not well marked topside, so you have to grope the underside to find it. Sum total of cons, for me, is one star. I am very happy with my purchase because it meets my needs with only small annoyances. If the distance and calorie settings are very important to you, you'll likely have to adjust your price range upward and select another model. If you just want to be more active and get your steps in with the safety of a crossbar to hold onto (vs a walking pad), then this will probably be a great purchase for you. ... show more
