Another school supply that was a couple dollars cheaper than from Walmart, and also came with little Name stickers you can put in. Which came off in the dishwasher, but it was enough for the first few days of school for kids to know whose water bottle is whose. I don't know that the water actually stays cold for 12 hours - I have put ice inside with cold water, just cold water, and also filled it up and left it in the fridge until morning and it's usually about room temperature by the time my son gets home from school if there's any left. It's easy to wash and comes apart in several pieces for thorough washing. A lock feature would be nice, but not necessary if your kid listens to you and stores it in the water bottle side pocket of his bookbag instead of tossing it in to roll around and get opened by banging into something else. :) The design I received was different than the one I selected but it was still Minecraft and matched his bookbag and lunch box. ... show more

Edit: 1st pic is what I received 2nd pic is what I ordered! Not only did I place this order on the 29th of August for 1 day shipping, it was not delivered until the 11th of September AND it was the wrong item. Yes the robot chatter did offer a return and new order but why wait another 2 weeks just to possibly receive another incorrect item. The funtainer brand ( 5 🌟 ) itself is the best thermos for kids IMO, they hold up to anything a little can put it thru and you can get replacement straws for the teething ones for a very reasonable price! I have been buying the simple modern water bottles because I like the ease of cleaning. The thermos brand isn’t as bad to clean as I thought it would be. I was always afraid the straw wouldn’t get cleaned well. I use a straw brush and have no issues. My son requested the thermos brand because he likes the button to pop open the lid. He finds that easier than lifting the simple modern straw. The Pokémon print is great quality on this bottle! It does come with name tags. I put the sticker on the lid and it was not staying. Listen, I was skeptical about the thermos. As a child who used to bring the old school plastic thermos to school back in the day and eat cold soup for lunch, I was hesitant. This bottle keeps ice water water really cold all day! Easy to drink from because it’s a real straw - not a valve-type contraption. It’s easy to clean with just four parts. This is the perfect size bottle for my toddler. He likes to open the lid by pushing the button. Although he is still working on pushing the lid down to close, which will take a little more practice. When open, this bottle is not leak proof because it has a tiny vent hole on the top by the straw. But I don’t care because I only put water in it and my son doesn’t leave it lying around on its side.
