  • Just what I wanted. Clean looking, smooth and quiet. Words of caution if air cooling a Z390 CPU.
Style: View 71 Size: RGB Color: Black
Review for View 71 RGB. Quality is great. Only exception is the glass top and the glass main view door do not fit the pins exactly. Since they are injection molded, they cannot be loosened and re-centered to allow for better fitment. I am able to get them "pressed" into place, but would rather they just work. The rest of the case is wonderful. I was able to get three 140mm fans to mount into the front. The top of the three fans does not line up exact with the window they have made in the front but who cares. (See Pics) Several other notes from my build: I am using a EVGA gold 750 and was JUST BARELY able to get the two of the matching RGB riing120mm fans I purchased separately to fit in the lower location. So some of the larger/deeper power supplies would only have allowed one 120mm. Another note for using this case with CPU air cooling and a Z390 Motherboard with the GPU mounted Vertically: I am using a very common "entry level" CPU cooler, the Cool Master Hyper 212 CPU cooler along with a Z390 motherboard. Since this motherboard family has the CPU socket located closer to the center of the board the CPU cooler could not be mounted vertically with the fan blowing toward the rear of the case as is typical, there is just not enough room. So, IF you are going to mount your video card in the vertical extended slot provided take extra care to speck your CPU air cooler. As you can see from my pic even with the CPU cooler blowing up there is only a 1/4" gap at most there. In my case I had to Slip the fan on from the top of the cooler which was a hassle. If I run into issues with keeping my CPU cool and need to upgrade I will not be buying an air solution (which I prefer to liquid) but will be forced to buy a liquid loop to ensure clearance issues are not a problem. See attached pics for help deciding. I originally didn't think I would use an optical drive in my build but after fitting it between the two drive bays provided I was happily satisfied with leaving it attached after installing all software from discs. I had no problems with the Thermaltake fans or controllers. Looking GOOD. Also note that this View 71 is heavy. I will weigh my total build and post it here later. Love the case. Love the layout. Easy cable runs and room to grow. ... show more

  • Best Case I've Ever Owned!
Style: View 71 Size: RGB Color: Black
**UPDATE** If you're planning to mount your GPU vertically, you'll want to get a smaller CPU cooler, like the Thermaltake UX100 for example. Not a tower CPU cooler. I always start with the case when I build a new PC, so after MUCH deliberation I chose the View 71 RGB and I couldn't have made a better choice! It's extremely versatile and really badass-looking. If you like lots of RGB lights, this is the perfect case. The glass panels show off all of your lights and hardware, but still allow for airflow. I've been monitoring temperatures closely, especially while playing (mostly) Starfield on Ultra settings, and I haven't had any issues. The glass sides are also really easy to open up AND remove for ease of access during the build. In addition to the 3 fans that come with the case I added 3 140mm CoolerMaster fans at the top of the case, and a large CPU cooler with a 140mm fan. I used a couple of 4TB NVMe SSDs in my build, but I really like the options they provided for larger SSDs and HDDs. Routing and organizing cables is super easy, too, and there's LOTS of space on the "hide side" for SSDs and any wires and cables you want out of sight. I really can't recommend this case highly enough, but if I had to list some cons, I'd say it's heavy. Really heavy. And you can't put it on a rolling base because then you won't be able to open the side panels. But that's a trade-off I'll happily make. ... show more

  • THE ABSOLUTE BEST CASE FOR QUALITY, EASE OF INSTALLATION/MODDING, AND PRICE!
Style: View 71 Size: non-RGB Color: White
When I stumbled upon this big beautiful full-tower chassis, it didn't take me long to realize that I had to order it. I had just ordered an NZXT H510i, and ordered an AIGO mid-tower sealed tempered mid-tower PC case - all within the last 6 months. I keep moving my new AMD Ryzen guts with a Samsung NVMe - M.2 and 32GB of high-speed memory to the next case that seems to interest me the most when I see it on Amazon. But I'm telling you...I know there is NO WAY I will be upgrading (if that's even possible) or switching out anything case-related any time soon. I've had a full-tower chassis before, but I'd forgotten how spacious and awesome they are to build in. I've got the 11 case fans working beautifully, and the vertical-mounted GPU has quite a bit more room to breath against the glass than a standard sealed case. I've got the mechanical 3.5" HDD's in the back for storage, and was elated to realize that I get to wire up and make that usually-hidden part of the case as awesome as the front side! I did the best I could, and am happy with the result! I made my own cable-bar-blocker thing out of some residential flashing/siding scaps. It's very thin metal, and easy to work with. I cut it to fit how I wanted, cut the notches inside at the top and bottom for the cables to have room to pass through, and painted 'er orange. Yes, that is my favorite color. I just had to paint it because the off-white factory color that the metal was coated in was unacceptable against that beautiful, new white. I DO NOT play PC games, and my Ryzen 7 2700x is PLENTY of CPU for me to do my intense multitasking. So for now, I have no need to upgrade the CPU cooler, but when I do I'll install a water cooling unit of course and begin to learn that sector of modding. I can't say it enough - this case is just.....well....it's just great. EVERY panel and piece pops off very easily and just snaps back on when need be, making the build SO SO nice. Make sure you're prepared for the size of this thing, and the weight. I only weighed it built - and it weighed 46 pounds, I kid you not. So, it's not too bad. But radiators and anything will begin to make that figure rise quickly. Trust me - if you're on the fence about it - get it. There's NO other case that even compares to the quality, immensity, beauty, and simplicity of simply putting it together and upgrading it just by removing 2 side thumb screws and swinging the well-made door open. Front or back, doesn't matter. Best price also - no competition. Not even close for a case that looks and functions like this one. ... show more
