  • Don't Buy This Keyboard!!!!
Style: 3 Color
I've taken apart logitec keyboards to fix sticking keys. You can't take this one apart if you remove a certain screw with a sticker that says do not remove your keyboard with not work AGAIN!!!!!! I thought this sticker was a quality control sticker!! The reason I took the keyboard apart was to fix a stuck metal bracket on the SPACE KEY! I fixed it upon putting it back together I relized the sticker over top the bottom screw said DO NOT REMOVE was not a quality control sticker.. ARE YOU KIDDING ME. WHAT KIND OF KEYBOARD MANUFACTURER DOESN'T ALLOW THEIR CUSTOMERS ACCESS TO THE INSIDE OF THEIR KEYBOARDS TO FIX STICKY OR STUCK KEYS!!! STAY THE HECK AWAY FROM THIS ONE A COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY!! IF THE MANUFACTURER WANTS THIS POST TAKEN DOWN THEY BETTER NOTIFY ME AND POST THE FIX TO THIS ISSUE!!! WHAT CAN YOU DO WITHOUT A SPACE KEY!!!!!! ... show more

  • Good for 'quiet' gaming
Style: 3 Color
I actually ordered this by accident. I was looking for a membrane gaming keyboard to replace my (very loud) mechanical gaming keyboard. I added this one to my cart as a place holder with the intention checking out other options later when I had more time. Forgot about it, ordered some other items, and purchased this keyboard by mistake. I'm glad that I did! It creates far less noise than my supposedly 'silent' mechanical gaming keyboard, but is not as quiet as a low profile scissor-switch membrane keyboard I had previously (which was not good for gaming as it did not have N-key rollover). There are a few things that I do not like about this keyboard. The size/placement of the keys around WASD just feels a little off compared to other gaming keyboards which I have used, but I am becoming accustomed to it. The 'Game-Mode', which disables the super-key (Windows key), really should be a dedicated back-lit key instead of Fn+PrtScr, and there is no visual indication that 'Game-Mode' is even activated. Last, but not least, I wish there was a green, or even white, back-lighting option. I find red too jarring (personal preference on my part), and blue is known to cause eye strain. The third option is a sort of purplish-pink color, which I just don't like. Otherwise, this is a well crafted, and quiet (but not silent), gaming keyboard at a great price. Seriously, I have not found anything better that has 'N-key rollover' AND back-lighting in the $30 range! ... show more

  • Macro key functionality leaves something to be desired
Style: 3 Color
The keyboard it self seems to be a good product for the price. It has a decent feel and response. HOWEVER the macro programming leaves something to be desired. You cannot hit a macro key while pressing any other key.I For Example: In game moving forward you typically hold the "w" key down. While that key is down there is no macro function. You must let up and then hit the macro key you have programmed for the macro to execute. I had to research this long and hard to find an answer and had I know it in advance I would not have purchased this keyboard. This may not bother you but it annoys the heck out of me in some games. I'm sorry but for that reason alone I wouldn't buy this again ... show more

  • Love the feel
Style: 3 Color
I wanted a back-lit keyboard since I tent to forget to turn lights on when it gets dark. Not a big fan of bright lights. Anyways, I very much like this keyboard. I love the blue color too much to change it to purple or red. I like that the central knob can dim/turn off the lights, but I leave them on pretty much all the time. The keys are what I would call soft. Not mechanical in any way. I enjoy soft keys. The only thing that really takes getting used to is the column of keys on the left-side. It throws me off when I'm placing my hands on the keyboard. I bought it for my casual gaming, but I use it for everything. I'm a writer and I've been writing most of my stuff with it lately. Just a nice decently priced keyboard. Update: it's been over a year and I love this keyboard. It's still in as great of a shape as the day it arrived and I love typing on it. I'm completely smashing my word count during this year's NaNoWriMo and I do most of my writing on this keyboard. The backlight still works great and I love the feel of the keys. I tend to switch keyboard around, mostly because I can, and it puts my hands in slightly different positions, but I always come back to this one. The keys are very light and take little effort to press, which I notice because I switch around. I just love it. ... show more

  • A buget keyboard that packs a punch
Style: 3 Color
I owned this keyboard back in the day and it was amazing. I played WoW on it for like 3-4 years pretty heavily until I finally tried to take it apart one day, and like another review mentions, if you're not careful, your keycaps and all their little rubber membranes will go EVERYWHERE. But I don't think that should be a reason to down-vote it. The built in macro program was the best. There are better ones out there nowadays but this thing got the job done. I loved having macro keys to the left of my WASD area because they're easy to reach and offer a lot of additional capability. Even a lot of "gaming" keyboards nowadays don't offer that. Overall, this is a budget keyboard that has a good software and is pretty durable. You can swap your plastic key caps fairly easy, which I did start to do after a few years once the WASDish keys start to feel like they're getting worn and you're back in business. I never had ANY problems with the software being crashy or my macros not working correctly. This keyboard is a winner for the price hands down. ... show more
