  • Plenty of clean power for my build.
Build: Thermaltake ToughPower Gold-rated SMART 750W modular PSU Gigabyte Aorus Pro X570 ATX motherboard Ryzen 7 3700x CPU TeamGroup T-Force Dark Za 32GB 3200mhz DDR4 RAM Sapphire Pulse Radeon 5700XT GPU WD Black M.2 NVME 500GB SSD Seagate Firecuda 2 TB SSHD 6 Thermaltake Riing 12 Plus Premium RGB case fans Pccooler GI D66A cooler Fractal Meshify-C White ATX Case I really like this PSU. I have peace of mind that my system has more than enough clean power. The Gigabyte Arous Pro's have rock solid VRMs, and 750 watts of gold rated power is more than enough with plenty of head room for future upgrades and additions. PSU runs silent, all voltages are rock solid during stress tests at full load. Modular is great for cable management, especially with my build and a total of 8 RGB fans (2 in push/pull on cooler) it can get a little crowded, but only installing the power cables I need helps a great deal and my PC is the cleanest looking I've ever built. Definitely recommend this PSU. Update 10/28/2021: So now I'm running this PSU with the Gigabyte Aorus X570 Master Rev 1.2 board and a Ryzen 7 5800X. Had no issues with it whatsoever in the last year and a half. Good PSU. ... show more

  • The SATA power cables could be better designed
Let me be clear, this PSU does what it needs to do. I like the size, the power comsuption efficiency, the surge protection feature, the power on-off togle switch, the fact that it's fully modular and it fitted the case nicely. But my problem, which I suppose coud be the same in other mid tower cases, is in the design of the SATA power cables, or perhaps the combination of that design and that of the Corsair 110R Tempered Glass case placement of the "cage" with the 2 HDD bays and the 5.25" ODD bay on the top front of the case. Each SATA power cable that came with this PSU have three conectors for SATA drives, but the distancing between the first one and the third one made it imposible, once the first was connected to the HDD, to reach the ODD with the second or third connectors . Hence, instead of using a single cable for both the HDD and the ODD, I had to use a second SATA power cable to reach the ODD. That made cable managment on the botom of the case, between the PSU and the HDD cage less efficient in terms of such a small space usage and neatness, plus it made difficult to organize the power cables in there as to then easily run them through the appropiate spaces on the plate that covers the motherboard's backside, without making difficult to correctly place the case's external side panel. ... show more

  • No more crashes
This beast is quiet and powerful. The power supply is beyond sufficient to hold up a Meta Quest and 3060Ti 12GB. The cables are shielded but not clunky, very easy to install, such a Great buy!

  • Great PSU
Everyone's milage is different but I've had 2 of these so far and haven't had anything go wrong at all. Quite and runs relatively cool. If your looking for a good rated PSU for your next build I'd recommend this one.

  • Difficult to unplug some cables
The power supply itself is good, however, I had some trouble with trying to disconnect the motherboard 24-pin cable from the power supply itself. I later found a solution that didn't require me to do so, but if I had to disconnect it, it would have likely been impossible to do it. But I understand that this is how PSUs are in general with those 24-pin cables being very finnicky. Just know that if you plug it in, you might not be able to take it out without some extra tools (which I would not recommend using with a PSU). Also makes a clicking noise when I turn it on/off, but some basic research suggests that this is a feature rather than a problem, still, I will monitor the situation. ... show more

  • As soon as I ran the computer through the power supply, i clicked the power supply stopped working
The package appeared nice and new, but Im afraid I got one of the manufacturer's hundreds or thousands of defects. AS soon as I plugged in the 750W power supply upon installation it made a clicking noise and the power supply stopped working. The 500W powersupply we had before just worked fine.

  • Great modular PS
So I needed a new power supply and searched for the best price for the best review. Ended up with this PS to power my i7 11700 and 3060ti. So far this PS is so quiet with no power issues. Really this 750W PS is an overkill, but id rather do that with a good quiet PS with plenty of overhead in case I need the full power at a later time. Love the modular so I can store all the unneeded power cables in the box and not clutter up the case. If something changes, I will update this review. ... show more

  • Costly Mistake
I should have performed a pin-to-pin test prior to installing this PSU. I’ve been building my own PCs since 1995 and I’ve never had the following happen. After installing and triple checking that everything was hooked up correctly, I plugged the power cord into the wall and closed the circuit on the back of the PSU. As soon as I flipped the switch (on the PSU), I heard a pop from inside the computer’s case. I immediately turned the switch off on the PSU. Soon after, I could smell smoke from an electric burn. I put my old PSU back in but nothing happened when I flipped the PSU switch; no motherboard LEDs. I pushed the PC power button, nothing. I replaced my B550 motherboard and everything seemed back to normal; however, I soon found that both my 2TB 2.5” SSDs and one 4TB HDD drives were also fried. Both the M.2 SSDs, memory modules, and video card were still good. I was upgrading from a 600 watt PSU because I was in the market to upgrade my video card. Instead, I spent more on replacement parts than the video card and new PSU would have cost combined. So, I’m out a lot of money and will have to wait for that video card upgrade. ... show more
