  • Best PSU brand (imo)
Style: Gold ATX 3.0 Size: 1350W Color: Black
I love this brand so much for their power supply units. I have the same PSU but at 850 watts and I've never had any problems with it. I got this for my girlfriend to help upgrade/future proof her PC for her next part upgrades and it works flawlessly with her current system and really ensures that everything gets the juice it needs. Great product, great brand. 11/10 ... show more

  • Great PSU
Style: Gold ATX 3.0 Size: 1200W Color: Black
I think this is the best PSU for the money. I have a 850 in one rig and a 1200 in a rig with a 5080, since I couldn't get a 5090 and realized I don't want to spend $3k+ on a 5090. So great power supply. Quite. Due to it being modular it's easy to manage cables as you only need the ones you plan to use. Functions as intended, not much to say about that. Great it has a switch for zero noise levels though I never use that function. Heafy in weight but great build quality. ... show more

  • Solid unit, reliable and minimal noise.
Style: Gold ATX 3.0 Size: 750W Color: Black
Everything I needed from a power supply at the time at the cheapest price, with room to upgrade to a dedicated 12vhpwr card in the future. Very quiet, and no coil whine. Fully modular cables make cable management easy, and it gets a tier A on the PSU tier list.

  • Great psu. You won’t regret it.

One year later no burnt cables or issues. I leave mine on smart fan mode to prolong the life of it. Paired with ryzen 57600x and a 3070ti

  • The cables too stiff and can cause damage to the motherboard or fans. Don't buy without extensions.
Style: Gold Size: 850W Color: Black
The cables for the power supply are so stiff that I had trouble installing them without potential damage to my motherboard, or them colliding with the fans on my radiator. They are also so long that cable management is very difficult, especially since they won't bend easily. I looked to see if they had more flexible cables for this unit but all they have are extensions. The supplied cables put a lot of stress on the connectors and the motherboard. I'm also having to make custom changes to my case to install my SSD because the SATA power cable is so stiff it will snap the connector on it if I install the SSD to the panel the way it was intended. I don't understand why a PSU manufacturer who caters to enthusiasts/gamers still thinks it's okay to charge an additional $60 USD to buy flexible cable extensions for their PSUs. That is over half what I paid for the unit. Why can't you make your cables flexible to begin with? The old non modular PSUs from 20+ years ago were ugly but I never had trouble trying to install the connectors on the motherboard or other peripherals. My old EVGA 850P2 that this is replacing had much more flexible cable as well. I would take the cables from it if it had all the 8 pin PCIe cables I need. A big problem with using extensions, is that now all of the original cable has to be managed along with the extension. If I did not need this PC up and running right now, and you didn't have a good reputation for quality in the actual PSU, I would return this supply. I've ordered flexible extensions to relieve the stress on the MB and keep the wires out of my fans. The only solution for the SATA cable is to install spacers below my SSD. I should not HAVE to do this to make the supply work. The extensions should only be something I CHOOSE for aesthetics only. TL;DR: The PSU itself is great. The cables are total garbage and you should not buy this supply unless you can afford to buy flexible cable extensions. ... show more

  • Powers the Aorus RTX 5080 with single cable.
Style: Gold ATX 3.0 Size: 1200W Color: Black
This is for the 1200 watt 80+ Gold, Have no complaints, bought it for the single 600 watt cable for use with the Gigabyte Aorus Master RTX 5080 and psu runs silently. I barely hear anything coming from the case when the gpu is pulling 300 watts. Setup was easy as it’s fully modular. 89.7% efficiency rating using 110v power receptacle. ... show more

  • Great Modular system with room to grow!
Style: Gold ATX 3.0 Size: 1200W Color: Black
I recently decided to make the leap into the world of AM5 CPUs. Because of this, I needed to upgrade a lot of parts in my PC and one of these things was my PSU. I wanted something that was going to withstand the test of time, have a good warranty, and was efficient with its power usage. After searching far and wide, I decided on this Thermaltake. The Experience: Installing this PSU was very easy. All of the cables come in a convenient reusable bag which makes storage of extra cables a nice compliment to the overall experience. Everything feels premium, and the modular design ensures that unnecessary cable clutter is cut down as much as possible. All cables are labeled, making this an easier experience for newer PC builders. This Unit comes with the 600W 12VHPWR connector, which supports NVIDA's newest card models, and what i believe will be the standard going forward. First off, some Stats: Noise Levels: Cybernetics Standard (40-45 dB[A]) Modular: Fully Operating Temperature (Continuous Full Load): 0 - 47°C Cooling: 135mm Fluid Dynamic Bearing Fan Form Factor: ATX12V v3.0, EPS 2.92 Pros: - 10 year warranty - Great Build Quality - Fully Modular - Over and Under Voltage protection - Short circuit protection - Over Temp protection - Surge protection - Inrush Current Protection - ATX v3.0 compatible - PCIE 5.0 compatible - All cables are 16AWG gauges, great for lower voltage drops at high loads. - Japanese Capacitors - Great Efficiency - Full power operates at 47 degrees C Cons: - Higher fan noise at full load - If you need lots of Legacy PCI connectors, the amount on this system is low. - Large inrush current at 230V Overall: This PSU seems to have most of the bells and whistles that more expensive models have at a lower price. The build quality of this unit is great and should out live the warranty that they are offering. While there are some downsides to this unit, I feel that the positives far outweigh any negatives that are present. I wanted a unit that I feel safe will protect my investment in my PC, and I feel that this PSU does that and more. I look forward to using this PSU in more builds to come, and I feel confident that it will most likely meet your needs as well. ... show more
