    • Fantastic power supply, but mine had a terrible flaw.

This is an excellent power supply, but I want to explain the problem I had with it in case you run into this. I bought this to run my PC along with a high-end video card, the AMD Radeon RX 7900XTX, which draws quite a bit of current off of 6 + 1 connectors. This power supply does have the three connectors, and they are dual ended, meaning one could do the purpose of two. Because of the high power drop, I used the three connectors separately, but for the last year I would have random issues with my video card going offline because it wasn't getting enough power. This was not a problem with the power supply in the long run, but the supply three connectors. I purchased three new ones for $10 each, and now it works beautifully. I don't know if the connectors were bad, but we're not making proper connection, but I would have to wiggle them occasionally on the video card to get it to work again. That being said, the power supply is awesome, and you may never run into this problem, but if you do there's the solution. I would definitely recommend this. ... show more

Fantastic power supply. The first one I ordered was DOA but they very quickly got me a new one (next day). Very pleased with the service. All the cords you expect are here. I’m not a fan of how some of the cords are set up but you can make do. I’m upgrading from my 850W PSU that lasted me 2 years before upgrading to the RTX 5090 because of the “required” 1000W PSU and this one works fantastic for it, no shut downs at high loads. Installing it is also very easy. If you’ve ever installed a PSU you’ll be very familiar with installing this PSU. The 10 year warranty with this product makes it very much worth the price. Listen to the all 1 star reviews. I was one of the victim that thinking those 1 star review are bullcrap so I ordered one for my new PC. It was my 9th PC I built myself and it was working fine for 3 month. Then there was POP sound. PC turned off. I noticed PSU was blown as I could smell the burnt. My worry was is it only PSU only or it fried other components too. Since I didn't have extra PSU I took it to MicroCenter and paid 40 bucks to diagnose. Luckily(?) no other components were damaged and only PSU needed to be replaced. I just purchased Corsair one right away (It is my go to brand but TT one here was on sale and I am paying the price tried to go little cheaper). PC works fine now and I sent the unit for RMA. RMA process was ok and I am expecting to get the replacement soon but I had to pay the shipping. Any one reading this review please help yourself. Don't fall for the sale price which highly possibley result spending more by getting new PSU and possibly spend more if it damage your MB. TLDR: HIgh Failure rate. Not worth to take chance.
