If you have the Stanley 30 oz, these are the perfect glass straws for them. I put a picture of the Stanley straw next to these glass ones. The glass is a little thinner, but I didn't mind. I use them all the time and they're great. Make sure to inspect your straws after washing. One had a hairline crack from being dropped (thanks kids!) that I thought was dirt. It broke when I hand-washed it. So just make sure to inspect before use. I've noticed that the ends of the straws can break if you drop the tumbler too hard. Love that I can see when they're clean! Note: If you have the 40 oz tumbler, these work but are just shorter.

There is absolutely a time and place for thick straws, but I was really struggling to find the thin ones that fit into a standard Yeti lid. I had a few to start with, but over the years I had some accidental drops that did them in. The straws themselves are remarkably strong for being glass, but if you drop your heavy tumbler full of coffee on the pavement because you had slippery gloves or whatever then physics is going to do its thing and break your straw. I dropped them at home while doing dishes several times and they were fine, so it's just when you insist on it that they succumb to real world pressures (like gravity and gravel.) Anyway, every time I thought I found new glass straws they were too big for my Yeti. I have metal straws that work, but I greatly prefer having a nice clear straw so I can see if anything is in there other than coffee. I also trust the cleaning process more when I can see results. This generous pack arrived yesterday and I was very happy to use one at work today. It's a small thing, I know, but it makes a big difference for me. Yesterday I could have been slurping up any kind of random debris with my beverage. Today I had the confidence of a woman with a clear glass straw. I do believe I stood a bit taller today! Buy these straws: they are better for the planet and absolutely better for knowing you're not accidentally drinking a bug.

We love sea turtles. So, we decided to stop using single-use plastic straws. Metal straws leach metal ions, which is why the metal can be tasted during use. Glass straws donโt interfere with flavor. These particular straws are a good length and diameter for use with my insulated cups. The set comes with a little brush for cleaning, although if you rinse the straws right after use and put them in the dishwasher, they come out sparkling clean - no scrubbing required. They donโt break easily. We have a cup full of these on the counter in the kitchen for family use.

I'd been looking for a replacement for all the plastic straws I tended to get at fast food restaurants and found these more enjoyable than comparable plastic or metal straws I had tried in the past. The included silicone tips were difficult to get onto the straws, but I didn't enjoy the texture so I didn't use them anyways. The straws can feel a little "thin" on the interior when trying to drink through them, as the interior gauge is smaller than a plastic straw because of the glass thickness. Its the same experience as trying to use a thinner straw but I didn't find it bothersome. I found it helpful that these came with wire brush for easy cleaning as well.
