Description

CT140 EX Reverse ARGB Sync is a new model of the CT series incorporating the new MagForce 2.0 for a better, quicker magnetic connection among fans. This fan maintains its 1800 RPM fan speed and has broken through its series limit to provide even better cooling performance. The CT140 EX Reverse ARGB Sync can generate 94.95 CFM of airflow and 2.54 mm-H2O static pressure while maintaining a 32.8 dBA noise level, pushing ARGB fans to their limits. Reversed blade fan enables airflow from rear to front while fully showing lighting effects. No more sacrificing aesthetics for your airflow direction. The media could not be loaded. I was looking for 2 reverse blade, white, 140mm fans to fit in this Hyte Y60 case without extra controllers and that plug right into the motherboard. This 3 pack was about all I could find that wasn't going to take a month or was used. At full speed, they were initially loud and annoying, emitting a loud mechanical hum. The video shows them at 12v, the highest speed. I checked the screws for vibration and even tried swapping one of them out that I thought was louder, nothing worked. After use and some benchmarks, so sound normal. I dont know what happened but now they are fantastic. They look great, are of solid build quality, have good flow, and have a great magnetic way of connecting themselves. No issues whatsoever. ... show more

    • Reverse fans for the win or wind

I originally had normal fans located at the bottom of my case, but it always bothered me how the majority of the RGB was being lit underneath. I also wasn’t happy with the support arms of the fan being so visible. These reverse fans solved both of these problems for me. They look much better and provide plenty of airflow. Noise levels are what you would expect from a triple fan set up. I don’t find them any louder or quieter than other fans. I normally run them noise normalized so not a problem for me. You may have heard that some performance is lost with reverse fans, which might be true however, I would say it is negligible. If you’re looking to have a better visual experience with your build, I would highly recommend these fans. And so far they appear to be quite good quality. ... show more

Great fans that allowed me to hide all the cabling on my build. One cable split two ways replaced 12 connections on traditional cables daisy chained fans. Provide great cooling quietly once you've adjusted your fan curves.

The magnetically aligning pogo-pin connectors used to join multiple fans together make installing multiple fans much easier than you think. First, fewer cables to manage. Second, the magnets are strong enough that once you have one fan mounted, the magnets will hold up the next fan for you to set the screws. The proprietary cable connection is HUGE and in the way of my AIO radiator tubes. There's NO NEED to make them so massive. This feels like a prototype that never should have made it into production. Shrink it down and make it thinner/flatter so it doesn't get in the way of other things. I literally could not install this without rearranging half of the components in my case. I build 5-7 systems per week so I'm not an inexperienced builder. I'll never buy these again. ... show more
