  • Replaced My Old Cooler Master Hyper 212 RGB With Thermalright PS120SE ARGB
Style: PS120 SE ARGB
I recently upgraded my system's cooling with the Thermalright PS120SE ARGB, moving from a single-fan Cooler Master air cooler hyper 212 RGB, and the difference is night and day. This dual-tower, dual-fan behemoth has completely transformed my PC's performance and acoustics. Previously, with my single-fan Cooler Master cooler Hyper 212 RGB, I was constantly battling high temperatures, especially under load. My CPU would frequently hit uncomfortably high temperatures during gaming sessions and productivity tasks, which was a constant source of worry. The single fan, trying to keep up, was also incredibly noisy, sounding like a jet engine lol when the heat started to build up. The jump to a dual-tower design with two 120mm fans immediately paid off. My temperatures have dropped dramatically across the board. Under the same heavy workloads that used to push my old cooler to its limits, my CPU now runs significantly cooler, often staying in a temperature range I never thought possible with an air cooler. But what truly surprised me was the NOISE LEVEL. The Thermalright PS120SE is whisper-quiet, even when the fans ramp up. The two fans work in tandem to provide airflow without the high-pitched whine that plagued my old Air Cooler Master hyper 212 RGB. The combination of quiet operation and stellar cooling performance is a fantastic one-two punch that makes my gaming experience so much more enjoyable. The ARGB lighting is a nice bonus, adding a touch of style to my build. But at the end of the day, it's the raw cooling power and near-silent operation that make this cooler a truly worthwhile investment. The Thermalright PS120SE ARGB has proven that you don't need a liquid cooler to achieve top-tier performance and quiet operation. For anyone looking to dramatically improve their CPU's cooling and reduce system noise, I can't recommend this cooler enough! seriously buy it! youll thank this review later!. Despite its imposing size, the installation process for the Thermalright PS120SE ARGB is quite straightforward. It comes with clear, step-by-step instructions and mounting hardware. The brackets and screws are well-made and fit securely. While aligning the screws can be a little tricky at first, following the instructions and tightening them a little at a time in a criss-cross pattern makes the process much easier. The fans are also simple to clip on once the heatsink is in place If you also have 4 ram sticks you will have to slide your fan up juuuust a little tad bit but it won't be above the heatsink. ... show more

  • Works great for my AM5 Ryzen 7 7700X
Style: PS120 SE ARGB
These ThermalRight coolers are amazing. Considering price and functionality they do a terrific job at producing computer thermal control products. I did not know anything about ThermalRight until this purchase. I found the brand via YouTube system builders and Chat GPT. I bought a new Game PC and tried running Cinebench benchmarks and found that the Ryzen 7 7700X was unable to complete the test. It shut down the test with about 2 minutes to go. I assumed that it was related to thermal throttling (or panic). The small AMD Wraith Prism cooler (while looking cool) was not doing the full job. This cooler barely fit in a PowerSpec G725 case, but it does fit. Cinebench now passes (though by design the Ryzen 7 7700X runs the CPU to 95C no matter what cooler you have. BTW, I also bought a ThermalRight SecureFrame kit for AM5 - I highly recommend that too. ... show more

  • Priced very well, works very well
Style: PS120 SE ARGB
Bought it for my son wanting to get his CPU temps down a bit. This does a very good job. We probably could have gone for a single fan version, he argued, I said "fine, it's your PC" and because the price is extremely reasonable I got it. I made him change out the coolers with a little guidance. He runs dual monitors and some graphics-heavy games. He used to be around 96C now down to 65-75C at full use. The fans aren't the quietest but they aren't that loud either and can easily be replaced if needed. The sink and the piping looked to be manufactured well. He was a little disappointed that the LEDs aren't visible. We had to use a pull/pull setup rather than a push/push through the fins due to a clearance issue (RAM wasn't the problem, this has space for all but the tallest sticks). If I ever do another build. This brand will definitely be one to consider. ... show more

  • Fast to Assemble, Great Performance
Style: PS120 SE ARGB
Note that the cooler's size means one fan will likely interfere with non low profile RAM (Vengeance LPX). The fan that interferes (if it does) can be moved slightly upwards, which will not harm performance in any meaningful way but will look a bit worse. Reasonably quick to assemble, but do pay attention to the side the thermaltake logo and heap pipes are facing. Comes with thermal paste, keep in mind the paste is very thick so you may want an old card on hand to help with application (does not need to be spread if it's a large pea size dot near the center of the cpu, the cooler spread it out once applied). The card (or any other small edged tool - plastic to avoid scratching the cpu) will help with getting the paste to stop sticking to the applicator and moving the blob to the center of the cpu! Keeps even the Ryzen 9 9950x3d at good temps up to a 78 celcius max after sustained workloads, with minimal thermal throttling (cinebench scores remain high). The cooler is overall quiet (no AIO pump whir helps), well built (lifted the relatively heavy X870E Nova with it). And the fans are PWM adjustable with RGB support using the standard ARGB header. ... show more

  • No necesitas refrigeración liquida Ryzen 7 5800x
Style: PS120 SE ARGB
El único pero que tengo con este enfriador es lo difícil que es limpiar su radiador es enorme. Pero lo vale por mantener un procesador tan caliente como el 5800x . Super recomendado

  • Solid Performance and Loud Fans
Style: PS120 SE ARGB
The media could not be loaded. This does work pretty well to cool my 7600X3D even at full power, I’ve never seen above 80C. With some tuning to the fan curves this does perform extremely well but I will say the fans are a bit loud, easily louder than my case fans and sounds a bit like wind on the outside of a house on a windy day. They were very easy to install and the product does look pretty good, the noise is just a bit annoying. They do work with my RGB controller and are synced to my case fans lights, and fit my Montech XR case easily. ... show more

  • Yet another amazing product from Thermalright.
Style: PS120 SE ARGB
This thing does a good job indeed to cool my 7700x in a city where room temperature can reach 32ºC. Gaming at 1440p withall settings maxed out while opening several chrome tabs, Spotify, and even office documents on a second vertical monitor, usually gives me an average of 69ºC. Totally recommended.
