  • Better for $50 than $150 V-Moda or Cowin E8
Color: Black
1st review never cared to write one but these headphones for $50 bucks are a killer buy and the other headphones out there right now suck in my opinion. These have a nice rounded even sound. They are tuned nicely so there isn’t too much of anything they’re more flat as they should be. That’s what your equalizer is for. They are great for rock and metal and punk which all the others TOTALLY suck for, every other genre sounds good as well and I listen to all genres as a full time DJ 8 years and musician of 5 instruments 15 years and singer I am a total audiophile and these are very decent and well rounded and not shrill. They’re not super crystal clear they can be muddy but they’re killer for $50 people and over the 2 $150 competitors I tried I like these better, I am totally satisfied and want to buy another pair to keep one at home for Xbox and TV and one on the road in my car. Bluetooth works great, they are super comfortable I have worn them for hours on my Xbox and had zero annoyance or irritation they are very soft and comfortable AND THEY SIT OVER YOUR EAR. Like actually over not barely or on the side. They also have 1/4” and 3.5mm jacks built in one of each. Killer battery life as well better than almost all the other headphones. In my previous search I bought 2 pairs of $150 Bluetooth headphones the V-Moda Crossfade & Cowin E8 which I wanted to like both comfort and functionality wise but returned them both because they drowned the mid range completely and still had plenty of mud for the high price and one of them had drops on the Bluetooth, they didn’t connect automatically seamlessly as every other Bluetooth item. When you listened to hard rock (or honestly any genre) like Ratt or Guns N Roses the guitars and vocals were buried / tuned way out of the mix (amazingly since those bands guitar and vocals are way high in the mix) it sounded like they were way underwater lol or in the background of the room and the drums and bass are turned up way too loud like a bad cover band with a terrible sound guy where you can’t hear the singer barely or the guitar. Some have the highs spiked super high till its shrill when you turn it up loud hurts your ears. I checked out all the Bluetooth and studio headphones under $200 and contemplated buying the sennheisers but all of them basically aren’t that good for $200 imo as a full time DJ and audiophile musician of 5 instruments and singer I expected a lot more for my money. Most have the mid range buried and the bass super loud for hip hop, or have decent mids but no bass. I want both. Anyways these are cheap for $50 and compared to other $150 headphones I would recommend these because they fair just as well if not better than most of the other options for 3 times the price and aren’t tuned ridiculously and permanently like an equalizer to some specific genre like hip hop. You can use your equalizer to modify the sound properly with headphones like these and get any result you want. They are excellent comfort and battery wise outstanding. Sound is pretty good not excellent but even response plenty of punch and bass good well rounded tuning can hear the whole spectrum lows mids and highs evenly nothing is drowned out. BUY THEM. FOR $50 BUY 2 OF THEM. Leave one in your car to walk around with when your waiting for your car to wash or at the DMV. Keep one at home for around the house. Buy a 3rd one and give it to your friend. I’m going to wait a few years for technology to catch up on the Bluetooth before I attempt to search the high tier headphones for a good buy again cuz the juice ain’t worth the squeeze right now. Cheers! ... show more

  • My new favorite budget headphones!
Color: Red
First impressions- I love these! I previously had a different pair of wired, over-ear headphones from OneOdio that were my go-to (and one of their most popular sets), but listening to these two back-to-back I'd say the A70 definitely lives up to the price difference, and has to be my new favorite pair of headphones. Pros: - SOUND: Sound quality's awesome! Really clear audio with solid bass quality, and the noise suppression's pretty decent too (given the price range these are in). I thought there would be a sizeable decrease in quality from the wired vs bluetooth modes, but I actually found it pretty difficult to sense any difference. - COMFORT: Definitely a step up in comfort from my other set. The other one's ear pads had bulky, circular cushioning that gave me headaches if I wore them too long, whereas these have a smaller, flatter rectangular design that fits a lot better. The foam inside is also a little less dense so the compression isn't too harsh, with the foam across the band being more dense to offer greater support. - BUILD QUALITY: I'd say these are impressively well made for the price they're listed as. I've had a number of headphones that I could tell felt cheap from the moment I picked them up, but these feel really solid! My last set, despite being decent quality compared to a lot of other budget headphones out there, still had some problems with them that made them feel a bit clunky (ear cups had full rotation which felt flimsy, you could hear plastic creaking when moving around). This pair however feels very well put together, with the ear cups having a fixed limit for rotation, and no excess noise coming from the plastic. Cons/Critiques: - NOISE LEAK: I've seen this come up for other reviewers, and I will note that there is a bit of sound leakage. I don't think this is too big of an issue however, since you do have to turn up your volume to a bit of a high level for anything that comes out to be really noticeable (though this will vary depending on what kind of environment you're in). If you're gonna be using these in noisy public spaces or just on your own at home, then I wouldn't say it's anything to worry about. - BUTTONS: Bit of a nitpick, but the buttons are pretty noisy and do feel a bit cheap compared to the rest of the design. Interestingly enough, the power button makes significantly less noise and feels better built-in than the volume buttons. I think this was to make a better distinction between the three when the headset is worn, though I do wish they had all been built in a way that felt a little better. - EAR PADS: Now, this is a *very minor* issue to me personally, but the ear pads compressing do make a bit of a rubbery creaking sound that you can hear fairly loudly when you grab them with the headset on. I'm pretty sensitive to noise so this is just a little thing I noticed- I do think it can be ignored just fine since you'll only hear it when taking them off, but I figured I'd mention it since I wrote about the excess noise previously. * IF YOU'RE GOING TO BUY THESE: Not a critique, but I'm going to mention it since I didn't see it brought up on the user manual- the cable itself has a sort of locking mechanism where it connects to the headphones (this is the first time I'm seeing it, but it might be used with other brands as well). There's a piece attached to the connector that slips into the matching shape of the port, very similar to a key. From there, it can be turned left to offset the alignment of the piece inside, keeping the cord from being pulled out. By turning it fully right until it stops, the piece lines up with the shape of the port again and you can remove the cable. Just thought I'd point this out since it took me a minute to realize how it worked, and I scratched up the port a good bit in the process :') Overall, real good stuff! Highly recommend for anyone wanting to find a solid pair of headphones without spending a fortune ... show more

  • Good headphones, could be better
Color: Black
I have had these headphones for over a year and thought I would finally review them. Pros: - Great bass and sound quality - The battery lasts me days on a single charge - Durable as heck. I have dropped these so many times and they are super sturdy - Comfortable to wear for long periods of time Cons: - Not noise canceling. They reduce noise but they do not isolate me in a way that helps me focus - They leak sound so bad. When I wore them at my office job, my coworkers from across the room could hear what I was listening to even at half volume - The audio jack hardly works and always has a static sound Overall, these headphones are a good set for the price point. They are good for wearing around the house. Do not wear them in an office or otherwise quiet public setting unless you want noise complaints ... show more
