  • So small and light weight
I went from a over one pound pad to this! Its so small and light you wont even know you are carrying it. It came with a little stuff sack, it comes rolled up inside the pad when you open the box, I didn't know until i used it the first time. I stayed in a lean to for 3 days, 2 nights and it stayed inflated the whole time. It feels so thin i was nervous about it popping. i used a piece of Tyvek to lay down on the floor under the pad. Not sure if it was needed or not but i have heard this pad is very durable. Blew up in a few breaths. Deflating was quick and getting it into the stuff sack was not a problem. This is very pricey but i dropped over a half a pound from my back. Wasn't noisy enough for me to notice if it was. Over all if you have the money to spend on this, do it. Very nice pad. ... show more

  • Unreliable construction, very noisy
I bought two of these pads for a backpacking trip in Yosemite. My daughter tried hers at home. It was easy to inflate and lightweight, which made it ideal for our trip. The problem occurred the first night when I tried to use my sleeping pad. It inflated easily, but as soon as I laid on it, the baffles near the valve popped open with an explosive sound. Without the baffles, the top of the pad expanded like a balloon, and it was impossible to put my head or anything on it. Even the part where the baffles didn’t open was not usable as it couldn’t hold its shape, and with any pressure the air displaced to the ballooned part. I tried sleeping on the damaged pad, but it was impossible. The other pad did not come undone like mine, but it was very noisy. It made creaking noises anytime the person sleeping on it moved, waking up everyone in the tent. With these problems no one could get any sleep. The situation was hopeless. Our trip was ruined, and we were forced to return home after the first night. ... show more

  • Very light and worked great!
Size: Large - 77 x 25 Inches
This was a very light air pad and repacked very easy. It comes with a hand held blow up bag. First time to use one and it actually worked great. But still, I cheated and ordered a small hand held blow up device to blow up my pillow and sleeping pad. Life if good.

  • Very light, very squeaky, somewhat fragile mattress.
It is undeniably the lightest backpacking pad I've ever owned, so on that front it delivers 100%. But I don't have a lot else positive to say about it. It's squeaky like a mylar balloon every time you shift on it. It also deflated on my very first use. It had a slight leak at the mouthpiece that caused deflation within just a few hours, so when I took it out on my first trip it was nearly worthless. Contacted the manufacturer to get a replacement and all they did was seam-seal the mouthpiece. I could see the sealant smeared all over the area. It's functioned since that repair, but I never had a "new" functioning product and the manufacturer took over a month to make the repair and return the product to me. So, this will be my last Therm-a-Rest product. ... show more

  • Amazing piece of gear
Absolutely love this product! Even better when paired with the NeoAir micro pump and you can just let it do the job of blowing it up for you. Comfortable and lightweight. What more can you ask for in a pad?

  • It cut my mattress weight in half
I replaced a Flash that weighs twice as much. I've spent 4 nights on the UberLite. The fabric is noisy, but the mattress is comfortable. The regular size is narrow but so am I. ** Examine your package and test the mattress before hitting the trail. My first shipment came without original packaging or instructions. And it appeared to be an outdated model. And it leaked. Already returned once? A replacement came in an unopened retail box and works great. ... show more

  • Therm-a-Rest came through again!
The weight claim is off just a bit but it’s still a 4 Oz weight savings from last Neoair. I just wish they had it in a women’s mat. Take two inches off the length and add it to the width to fit a women’s wider hips.

  • The small is very small
I hate giving bad reviews but this small pad ended up not working for me, im keeping it as loaner gear, but it is so small that I cant fit my arms on the pad in any position. im 6'0 160, therefore imo unless its summer this pad is useless. You could combine with a zpad, but at that point just bring a better Rvalue pad. this isnt thermarest or the uberlites problem. But i feel people should know this real info when purchasing. Ive used it quite a few times and it holds air no problem (dont inflate your pad right before going to bed, make sure you give the air time to cool, your breath is warm, then right before bed RE-Inflate it, otherwise as the air cools and shrinks you will end up on the ground) fairly durable i use a dcf groundsheet tho. Also a sleeping pad shouldnt be your first place to save weight! In my research ive actually decided to go with MORE weight as there are some very comfy sleeping pads out there. ... show more
