I think the Hanger trading aid is a very useful aid to improve wrist conditions in many positions throughout the golf swing. I have tried a regular clothes hanger but it needs constant repositioning. The Hanger stays in place. It is easy to position it to get your desired amount of wrist bowing. And you can hit shots with it. It is quick and easy to put in on and take it off if you want to alternate between training aid and no aid. This is my second Hanger. I lost my first one at the range. I was getting nice feedback from the device so I decided I needed to replace it. I am enjoying the Hanger and improving my wrist conditions and ball flight.

I saw a guy that is a very good golfer hitting balls on the driving range with the hanger. He was hitting them very well and with a beautiful swing. I received mine and put it on my 9 iron. I haven’t taken it to the range yet but just making practice swings. The concept is good but once you attach it to your club it makes it so that you have to chock down on the club more than I am use to. I still need to take it to the range to try and hit balls with it.

Best training aid ever IMO for ingraining proper plane and positioning hands. An aid you can see and feel, no problem taking full swings is a huge advantage. Sturdy construction, easy to remove and reinstall.

Far too expensive and I wasn’t a believer in the tool itself. It appears to be the the old use a clothes hanger drill with a plastic club head attached. I would imagine PGA teaching pros will all have them to drive home the position that the wrists and hands should be in during the swing.

Purchased the hangar in December of 2022 and have used it religiously since then. I use the hangar before every golf round to give me instant feedback for the feel of squaring the club face on my backswing. This product forces you to rotate through the ball rather than casting your hands which has helped me develop consistency. My iron game has improved so much since then. Recently, I was playing a round and made the mistake of leaving the product hanging on my golf bag. When I arrived at my house I noticed the bottom half was missing. I reached out to customer service about the issue and they responded super quickly. I got in contact with Ted Watson and he was super helpful with this situation. He was kind enough to help replace the product and have it shipped to me within a few days. I highly recommend this product if you are looking to develop consistency with your irons.

Returned theHanger after a few uses. I found it to be more distracting than helpful. I didn't have trouble keeping the device pressed against my forearm during the swing, but it didn't lead to better contact. It was pretty easy to attach to the club but I always spent more time fiddling with getting it set to the right angle, so it wasn't quite the easy snap-on-and-off process I expected. theHanger's design forced me to choke down on the club more than I usually would, which I didn't like. The quality of materials was fine. I probably would've kept it if it was half the price. I was afraid it would eventually end up sitting in my closet unused like some other training aids I've bought in the past, so I returned it to get the $70 back.

I've tried (and returned - thanks Amazon!) many training aids. This one is the best I've bought. I went from erratic practice sessions where I'd start off keeping my shots straight-ish to wicked fade-to-slice shots as my sessions progressed. I got this device, slapped it on to my 7-iron, went out in the yard to try it out and several days later - I have yet to hit a single fade or slice while using it. It's also helping with muscle memory, as I've been able to pop it off my club and keep hitting healthy shots. It literally has helped me make significant progress sorting out my plane/wrist position/drawback issues. Will it help you the same way? It depends. Are you at least a somewhat experienced golfer who's got the basics down? Are you pulling your club back off-plane? Are you shifting or rotating your wrist out of position on your drawback? If so - I would guess it definitely will help you at least enough to justify the cost. My only concern on this is device is that it's plastic; however, if it were any other type of material (e.g. aluminum, steel, etc.), it would likely weight down the club in a negative way. So - lighter, stiff material is a good design decision. Also - it's very easy to attach to your club. We're talking 5 seconds, tops, to attach it once you have your grip size dialed in on the device clamps. My routine before playing a round now will be use this for a dozen balls on the range then pop it off and keep my swing going the same way. *Thumbs up on this one*

Cheap plastic, gadget assembly guide useless -starts out with gadget already assembled and attached on the club. alignment guide points - no words..... How to use video links have server connection issues., and when connected the videos all start with a unnecessary theatrical intros - We already bought the Gadget folks, skip the sales pitch and get on with the content of the video Returned the Gadget the next day.
