I LOVE my woobles kits!! I was struggling so long to learn how to crochet, so I picked up one of these kits on a whim. It is so easy to use, super cute, and the included instructions are very clear. It literally taught me how to crochet when every other book and video I tried didn't work. I also think the quality of the yarn is nice, it's really easy to see your stitches when you're working on a project. It also ended up being the perfect gift for a friend - they wanted to learn how to crochet as well but didn't know where to start. It was a great gift and she loved it :) It's definitely worth the cost!

My daughter asked for some of these kits for Christmas. She is 11 and while I thought she would like them, they required a bit too much dexterity and failure than she had the patience for. So I took them and I LOVE THEM!! I have zero experience with crocheting, knitting, or anything in that realm. But I was determined to learn. You do have to have patience, so I think these kits are probably better suited for teens and adults. The videos are fantastic and well paced, but I still screwed up quite a few times and had to go back to the beginning. However, I persevered and completed my first kit and now my second kit is much easier. These kits are not cheap, but that's because you are paying for the instruction that comes with them. And the instruction is excellent for beginners. One tip: You really need to be at an iPad or computer (large screen) in order to view the videos. Viewing them on a phone just doesn't work in my experience because you need to be able to see detail. Once I did this with my iPad, it was so much easier.

Loved how Sebastian the Lion came out. It was a bit of a love/ hate with the instructions for this kit. it started off strong but once you get to the snout, ears and mane I felt a bit lost. I think what got me is that she doesn't actually crochet a lion in a video. Because she doesn't show steps on how to work on the ears and the snout you're kind of left to figuring it out and winging it a bit. I would consider this a more intermediate design due to that rather than a beginner kit. However it did ignite a passion to start crocheting which I'll forever be grateful for.

Not only do I love this product but I love that Amazon prime offers free shipping! The Woobles website requires $50 minimum for free shipping (otherwise it's ~$8) so this is a great alternative. With regards to the product, their videos are far superior to any other tutorial videos and their choice of yarn is extremely easy to use and great for beginners. They teach a variety of beginner stitches so that you can go on and try other projects after you have established a good foundation using Wooble. You don't need to purchase any additional tools or materials to perfectly complete this project, which makes this kit very convenient.

The quality of this is great and it’s a fun gift to give. The instructions are short yet slow videos on how to do each step - often too slow. I would recommend this, though! It’s a great idea & fun for people of all ages.

Bought this for a 9 yo interested in crocheting stuffed toys. I watched the video several times so I could help get my kid started but couldn’t make much progress even though I know how to knit. The instructions are almost too detailed and repetitive for the first steps and then too general. I wish there was a booklet provided instead of having to scan a QR code and juggle the phone to scroll the videos to whichever sections I needed to rewatch with the yarn draped over my fingers. In short, this was frustrating for both me and my kid. Probably good for someone who already knows the basics of crocheting. Materials themselves seem to be good quality and the toy pattern is cute.
