I've never ever crocheted in my life, and I managed to make this cute little narwhal in one day thanks to this set. The set came with everything and they was plenty of yarn and stuffing so I never worked about running out. I didn't have a problem with the yarn splitting even though I made mistakes, which I read online is due to special yarn used by this company that is geared towards beginners. The best part of this set are the included tutorial videos. They are SO detailed and high quality that someone who has never even held a crochet needle before could make this in one day. I plan to buy more Woobles kits in the future because the designs are so cute. Sure, maybe the material would be cheaper to buy separately but I don't know what I'm doing and the videos are absolutely worth the price. This is clearly a beginner level kit since I'm a complete newbie and could do it but probably also not the best for younger children since it contains several fiddly bits up make and add on. But for an adult, totally doable!

This kit was great for my daughter. She’s been wanting to crochet for years now and we found these and fell in love! She is 11 and was able to make Bjørn in about 3 days. We were traveling so she could not complete it faster. Total she completed it in about a day or so. I will say, sometimes the videos are vague or they are too detailed. At the start she figured the single crochet and all that stuff out fairly quickly but she was annoyed because once she understood it she just wanted them to move along. Either way this kit was worthwhile and so much fun for her! It is a medium size, so not very big but that mostly depends on how you make it and how you stuff it. The instructions are great and like I said, are detailed! The design is so cute and it’s perfect for a little desk or room decoration! It’s very durable so you can give it to pets if you would like. 10/10 product, will be buying from woobles again!

I absolutely LOVED this product. I had been wanting to learn to crochet for awhile, but I wasn't sure where to start. This kit was great because it comes with everything you need, so I didn't have to go out and buy a whole bunch of skeins of yarn just to try it out. And the yarn they give you is purposely made to be easy to work with, which was so helpful because I didn't have to worry about the yarn fraying or anything, and the stitches were super easy to count. So this was a great way to try crocheting out without breaking the bank! I found the instructions easy to follow - the videos were incredibly helpful. I also love that the project comes with the first part done (the "magic ring"), which made it easy to get started without having to learn a more complex stitch first, AND that first set of stitches doesn't come out so the couple of times I decided to start over, that magic ring wasn't lost. But it still teaches you later in the project how to do a magic ring, so I was able to go on with the knowledge I needed to do many different beginner projects! Plus, Bjorn turned out super cute! Everyone loves him. And isn't Bjorn just a great name for a narwhal? 10/10 product, would definitely recommend for anyone who wants to try out crochet without having to make a huge commitment or decide what types of things to buy.

Update: Before you ruin your wooble yarn like I did, go to other videos. Some have better angles. For example you may be able to see the basic stitch they teach in video 2 better in video 4 or 5. cute but videos aren't as helpful as I first thought. completely lefty newbie. I can't even get the first stitch. I've watched the videos probably 50 times but I can't see how they are pulling the needle. the super short videos that don't auto play only add to the frustration. every time i have to click next or replay I'm starting over and back to fighting with the yarn to stay on my finger and the needle. i've tried so many times the yarn is starting to fray and I've probably already ruined a very pricey item. If you are coordinated and know how to crochet, these are probably great. If you are neither, they are extremely frustrating.
