One less reason to renew your membership at the club

Imagine if you will, an exclusive "club" where main benefit is the privilege of spending your Saturdays navigating through hoards of oversized SUVs in a crowded parking lot, then negotiating battleship-sized shopping carts up and down runway-sized aisles, and then having to stand in one of 50 ultra-long lines in order to spend several hundred dollars. The prize at the end of this ordeal is a $1.50 rancid meat hotdog with carbonated syrup water at a filthy picnic table, elbow-to-elbow with the same lummox that earlier parked his cart sideways across an entrance to an aisle in order to patiently wait for a booger-sized sample of Cheez Whiz on 1/16th of a soda cracker. Don't forget to wait in line to have an employee lightly glance at your receipt and imprint it with their Sharpie. Now imagine that this "club" recently increased their membership dues. So when it came time for our family to renew our dues, we questioned the value we were getting...Pretty much the only reason we shopped there was for non-perishables, since any of the food we'd purchase there would expire before we'd had a chance to eat it all, contributing to the growing food waste epidemic on our country. For what its worth, the club's $18 warehouse pallet of Toilet Paper was good quality at a great price. You can certainly buy more than you need, it won't go to waste. I think that Amazon's Presto is the answer to that, the Ultra Strong is soft, durable, and doesn't leave bits behind on your behind. The rolls are large, so changing them out is less frequent. We buy it on Subscribe and Save for the discount, though dollar-for-dollar we're still getting about 5000 less sheets than the club's version... But all of that is worth it, because now we have our Saturdays back.

Pretty Good Toilet Paper!

For the past five years, I have been using the Presto Ultra Soft variant through my subscribe-and-save plan. However, due to it being out of stock this past month, I decided to try Presto Ultra Strong as a replacement. I must say, I am extremely pleased with this switch! The Presto Ultra Strong toilet paper is noticeably thicker and stronger than the Ultra Soft variant. It also maintains a wonderful softness and excellent quality for wiping. This price is pretty comparable and very competitive when compared to the other name brand toilet paper. Given this positive experience, I have decided to change my subscribe-and-save plan to this brand and keep the Ultra Soft as a backup option for when this one might be out of stock.

Pretty Good, But...😺

I've bought the bathroom tissue that's quilted and has three layers for years. But this one was on sale and had good reviews. Plus, with my preteen granddaughter home on spring break for 2 weeks and planning to host a lot of play dates and sleep overs, I was looking for a TP bargain! 😹 Actually the Presto tissue is pretty good, quite soft and fairly strong for being 2 ply. However, despite having more sheets per roll than Q'd.N we used more of it rather quickly. Two plies = More sheets needed for the job. Also, it shed lots of little fuzzy balls of paper from the sides of the rolls...?? 🙀 Messy. So, I'll stick with my favorite UNLESS this one goes on sale again!

Perfect money saving alternative to Charmin!

I'm not terribly finicky when it comes to TP but I don't want any of that see through gas station garbage either. I've been trying to find an inexpensive middle of the road option for a long time now, something comfortable and absorbent without costing as much as my monthly car insurance (lookin' at you, Charmin). I even got quotes to have a bidet installed! I live in a household of women so we go through a lot of TP, at least 2-3 rolls a day of the cheap stuff. But the cheap stuff isn't all that cheap really, it's half the cost but you have to use 3-4 times as much to get the job done, making it more expensive in the long run. I also have an AirBnB that I don't want to stock with that terrible commercial TP, but I don't want to pay an arm and a leg for a stranger to wipe his bum and steal the rest either. It's a conundrum (and not what I imagined adulthood would be like). I came across this on sale for Prime members at $16.69 for 24 rolls and decided to heck with it, I'll stock up a 6 month supply at this price and based on the reviews. Now I wish I had bought more! This is definitely the best "generic" TP I have ever bought. REALLY close to Charmin at half the price. The rest of the house seems to like it a lot and I've heard no complaints from the AirBnB guests, even got a compliment on stocking the place with "the good stuff". I'll probably wait for it to go on sale again before buying more, because at full price it isn't THAT great of a deal, but I'm definitely watching it closely for a sale again and would recommend it if you're looking for the quality stuff at a better price.
