This is by far my favorite "mid layer" shirt. I say this because it's not very comfortable against skin. The interior is soft enough, but the wires make it feel odd. However, with a thin T-shirt base layer makes the wires barely noticeable. The fabric is thick, and moderately stretchy. I would rate this short 3 out of 5 stars for wind resistance. Once the fabric gets cold, it stays cold for a while. But that is only an issue for the arms. The heating pads on the back and front are very impressive. The biggest downside is that I sometimes turn it on by accident while I am driving. It's not a problem until I am not understanding why I am feeling so dang hot! Lifting up the left side of my outer layer quickly displays the bright, glowing red light, of high power heat! I have not tested it with a thermometer, but I would deffinatly agree with the 150° max heat! The battery is less than desirable. However, with the USB style plug in; you can carry another battery with more milliamp hours (MAH)! ... show more

Switch is basically on left front hip. It will get pressed inadvertently, not a big deal. However, the placement of switch also means that is subject to flex and bending of the human body. I only wore this shirt on hunting trips sitting or walking to blind. The big problem is that the thin braided wires on back of switch will wear with time causing the insulation to bend and break. In turn the wires are not protected and break or short against each other. Now that there are dozens of brands out there for 1/4 the price I would not recommend this product or company. ... show more

This garment has real potential, from the specifications, but I am unable to figure out how to use it by reading the user guide. The font size in the "Operating Instructions" is no larger than about 4-point, and my adult eyes are unable to read it. The user guide on their website is essentially a scan of the same document, and doesn't have sufficient resolution to read if if enlarged. I tried just plugging into the battery pack and cycling the power button on the garment, but there's clearly additional things I need to do!!!!!!!! ... show more

I love this and living in Minnesota I wear it daily. It heats up quickly and keeps me warm. The battery is small and comes out easily for charging. Now I don't need to wear so many layers.
