Another great book. I wish this series wouldn’t end and that we were able to see more of Dacre and Verena’s relationship when they were both free. They have such an epic love. His devotion to her 😍, it’s unmatched. Wonderful series. I highly recommend.

The Rivaled Crown ARC Review 💖🗡️🖤 ⭐️ 5/5 🌶️🔥 3.5/5 This book follows the hunted heir and picks up right after the capture of our hot power couple—Mommy Verena and Daddy Dacre. From the very first page, I was completely wrapped up in this romantasy. The hardships these two face individually and how they grow as a couple are phenomenal. Personally, I don’t usually enjoy war-heavy plots because they tend to drag on longer than necessary. However, this book never felt slow! I loved that the battle didn’t take up three-fourths of the story. The pacing was perfect, and the conclusion was so satisfying. I could not put this book down! 😭 One of my favorite aspects was the literal DEVOTION AND WORSHIP that Daddy Dacre has for Verena. This man does not play when it comes to his woman! “Take anything you want, love. Take from me until I have nothing left to give. I am devoted to you. Everything I have is yours to take.” (…Sir, you dropped this 👑, and I seemed to have dropped my 👙.) “The rest of the kingdom will fall to their knees before you, Verena.” “But please allow me to be the first.” “Allow me to show you how you should be worshipped.” (Screaming, crying, and throwing up—this man!!!) I adored this book—the tenderness, the passion, and the fact that Dacre would literally burn the world down for Verena. Holly wrapped up this series so perfectly, and I’m devastated that it’s over. I love a good HEA, and this book delivered—not just for our main couple but also for Wren and Kai. A huge thank you to Holly’s team and Valentine PR for this ARC. I’m incredibly honored to have been a part of the final journey of The Veiled Kingdom series. 💖🥹 and I’m so glad I ordered the ebook and a physical copy because she is absolutely getting displayed on my shelf with her sisters.

Third book and I'm happy with how it ended. Enjoyed the journey with these characters and the growth. And the twists and turns and story behind the magic and all the trouble. You get more of the entire, complete story. Some parts were slow and their love bonding felt long to me so skimmed most of that. Personally just ready to move on to the action and rest of the story. We can only hope to have a man as obsessed as Dacre is with Verena. And Kai and wren, we love!

There are so many quotable moments involving this man and I loved every single one of them. Give me an MMC that is willing to destroy the world and everyone in it for the woman he loves and I’m sold. The way he WORSHIPPED Verena had me feral. The story wrapped up amazingly and I was very satisfied with the ending 😏😉 IYKYK. Overall, this book had a little bit of everything. It was fast paced, action packed, with great character development, plot twists, exquisite spicy scenes, redemption, and of course beautiful romance. I highly recommend this series. Dead. Deceased. Thats it for me. RIP Call 911 and tell my family I love them because this book has finished me. "I will burn this f***ing world to the ground before I let anything happen to you again." *internay screaming* My FAVORITE series, my Roman Empire is done and wow what an ending. We all know how The Hunted Heir left off and thank GOD this starts right after. It's absolute perfection. Nothing could have made it better. We all NEEDED to know what happened after and all I can say is wow this book absoutely delivered. We. Go. To. War. Holly tied this series up so perfectly, and as sad as I am, I'm so happy it ended the way it did. Dare I say I loved The Rivaled Crown more than The Veiled Kingdom? I'm not too sure yet, but it's close. Verena's character development throughout this book left me in awe. From discovering more about herself in such a short amount of time, to navigating her powers while the stakes were so high, it was a wild ride. Dacre will forever be my favorite mmc. His devotion to her is *chef's kiss*. When that man says he will burn the world down for her, I 100% believe him. Dacre and Verena, will forever have a special place in my heart. Nothing will top these two for me. I would go to war for them. Absolutely kicking my feet for this one. An epic conclusion to My favorite love story. A huge thank you to Holly and her team for letting me arc read this and for letting me be apart of this journey. I had high hopes going into The Rivaled Crown, the final installment of The Veiled Kingdom series, but unfortunately, it fell flat. While I genuinely enjoyed the earlier books and still remember their storylines vividly—a testament to how well they were written—this last book lacked the spark and intrigue that made the series so compelling. The pacing was off from the start. The first third of the book is consumed by repetitive scenes of the protagonist being tortured, followed by another third devoted to emotional introspection between characters—most of which felt like rehashes of earlier dynamics. The final portion, the climactic battle, was neither thrilling nor surprising. In fact, it felt like the motions of a story being wrapped up without passion or creativity. What’s most disappointing is that the earlier books were memorable and engaging. This one, in contrast, was bland enough that I found myself eager just to get through it so I could move on. It’s a shame when a strong series ends on such a weak note, and unfortunately, The Rivaled Crown didn’t live up to the promise of its predecessors.

What a conclusion to a great trilogy. We pick right up where we left off in The Hunted Heir with Verena and Dacre separately captured now trying to figure out how to get back to each other. This was a great way to end a fantastic series and I’m so sad it’s over, but so glad it happened. The only thing I would change in this is the (vague/non specific spoilers) ending felt slightly underwhelming for how much we went through with these characters. Like we went on a 3 book journey, and it just kind of ends. The big stuff doesn’t happen until 90% and it felt like it just wrapped up and that was it. Besides that, I really did love the series and I love Holly Renee. I can’t wait for the audio to come out to listen along! Tropes: Hidden identity Royal Fae Magic Fated Mates
