Joe Hodges drives full time for a ridesharing company. Late one evening, he drops off a passenger in an industrial part of town, then pulls over to send a text. Soon after pulling over, he hears someone yell for help and looks up just in time to see the man that he just dropped running away from two other men. The men catch up to him and Joe watches in horror as the man strangles his former passenger to death. Once the killers realize that Joe saw everything, they run toward him and he quickly speeds away. Desperate for money, Joe made a quick decision to hold off on going to the police with the details of the murder he witnessed, just in case there would be a reward offered for information on the case.
