Worked great for the use I needed. Attached to my jacket and secured my phone on a 20 day cruise. Didn't worry about losing it in the water. The tether had an ample length which was so great when I would grab it for a quick pic. I did add a smaller carabiner clip to the hook on the device that fit the hook on the zipper of my jacket. Scratches and cracked screens are pretty minor relative to losing your entire device and anything not backed up. This little tether prevents damage, loss, theft, arguments, and accidental drowning. And if you get mad and throw it, it wont go far!! But it has plenty of reach to allow for normal phone usage. I looked at all the options and couldn’t be happier with my choice!
