This replaced a pond pump which had a horizontal outlet and that made it a bit tricky to alter the piping. But it really increased the stream flow and works great! Now that the piping is set for a vertical outlet, I will definitely use this brand to replace it if it ever has problems such as a line getting sucked into the prop. Great pump, used in skimmer for my pond, install was “OK” I had to use a saw to cut the “neck” which is cool because you get to choose the length to install check valve. BUT it’s not a universal “neck” so my Atlantic Brand Check Valve I had to innovate and make it work. All in all it is powerful I got the 4200PL & Longevity I will update after 6-9 months ... show more
