Great product! The Outset’s Gentle Micellar Antioxidant Cleanser has only the ingredients that I need, without any of unnecessary additives that I don’t want. I like that it is a clean product that does two steps - removes makeup while cleansing - at one time, especially at the end of a long day. It exfoliates, but is gentle on my sensitive skin, leaving it soft and not dried out. So great to find a quality product that checks so many boxes at this price point. I highly recommend!

Normally, I have a healthy skepticism about celebrity skincare lines. However, a couple of recent positive experiences (Alicia Keys' Keys and Hailey Beiber's Rhode) have put me in a more open frame of mind. And boy am I glad. This simple foaming gel cleanser has become my new go-to for removing stubborn cosmetics at the end of the day. If I'm wearing a full face of make-up (including eyes), I'll still start with a balm and use this as my second cleanse, but otherwise, this handily covers both steps. It's gentle enough to use around my eyes but still powerful enough to completely remove foundation, concealer, blush and lipstick. It has a slightly thick gel consistency that works up into a loose lather. It's easy to rinse and doesn't leave any residue behind. Afterward, my skin feels clean, moist and soft. There's no added fragrance and it does have that vaguely rubbery chemical smell that's a hallmark of fragrance-free skincare products, but the cleanser is so nice and effective, it's not a problem.

This cleanser comes in a plastic bottle with a pump top that is very easy to use. It’s very gentle. No scent, no drying, and no irritation for my sensitive skin. 1-2 pumps is perfect, and it’s a large bottle that will last for a long time. Little pricey, but the size is fair. It’s vegan and cruelty free too, which I really appreciate!

I've seen and heard a whole lot about marcella water but never used it apart from the odd sample here and there. So when this The Outset Gentle Micellar Antioxidant Cleanser - Gel Face Wash came up I grabbed it, and I'm glad I did. It originated in France and get's it's name from a micelle, which is a collection of molecules that attract oil and water. the water part carries a very mild detetergen. I use one pump, emulsigy then massage my face and neck with it, it does not sting the eyes and it leaves my skin feeling very clean and not at all dry. Micellar water can also be used as a toner, wherby you do not need to rinse it off. As this is a gel, I always rinse it off especially after emulsification. I highly, highly recommend this product, I love it! 👍💖
