My nipples were bleeding and it was so painful to nurse and within 48 hours of wearing these I felt SO much relief. I wear them at all times time and they are 10/10!! Only note is you have to make sure you wear padding in your bra or it looks like you have pointy nipples lol and they do hold the milk that leaks out if you leak like me so wear pads in your bra! ... show more

I forgot I was wearing these when I took my bra off, and they fell off to the floor and dented? I definitely thought they would be thicker and a little heavier then they are. They work, but wish they wouldn't dent so easily because it feels cheap.

I heard dudedad's wife Heidi mention silver nipples after her most recent baby and absolutely had to try them out for myself. Nursing for me has been a wild ride with many moments of frustration after sudden infections would arise even after taking all the care in the world to prevent it. Some people are truly just prone to the infections associated with nursing and I just am one of those lucky people. When I heard simply using sterling silver nipple covers could be the key to infection prevention, I thought two things: oh my god that's genius, and also OF COURSE!! Silver is a natural antibacterial, antimicrobial, anti-everything powerhouse that has been used for centuries to prevent and treat infections, wounds, burns, you name it. And I have to admit, they really do seem to work! I have been plagued with frequent flare ups for as long as I've nursed, but since I've added these into the mix, there's been a huge change. I've only had one flare up and that was after I waited too long to pump, always a big no-no for me. The nipple covers are comfortable - cool at first, then eventually they just feel like nothing. They're discreet as possible although of course if you're trying to go braless you do you, but yeah you'll see these in that case. They have a nice little bag you can store them in when not in use, and they clean up easily, too. No burrs or sharp edges present, either; the surface is polished smooth. Overall I am really super happy with these, and I'd definitely suggest them to others for use with their nursing experience as well. These are an AWESOME shower gift as they're unusual and unexpected but they'll be treasured and appreciated by any parent who plans to nurse their baby, especially for an extended period of time. So, we’ve mostly gotten over the shallow latch issue. However, I think I sometimes have a lazy feeder, but also a very movable feeder. Let’s just say the girls get sore after one of those sessions. Even though I use lanolin after every feeding they still get sore. And when I don’t put a cream on afterwards I regret it later. I came across a website on a mom forum that provided information in silver nipple cups. I had never heard of them before. With the healing property, the ease of use, and the simple care I fought why not, let’s give it a try! I am SO glad I did. These are easy to use and not messy! I slip these on after feeding and the girls are protected & get a chance to heal between feedings.
