I nearly always buy the 5-packs of cheap reading glasses and i have pairs all over the place. Every room of the house, every jacket I own, multiple places at work. They essentially disposable. But I'm wearing them more and more and I wondered what it would be like to have a slightly nicer pair. The answer is A Lot. So much more comfortable and the lenses are so much more consistent and clear.

These were my favorite readers because they were so flattering. So, I treated them with care: kept them in a good leather case (not the one Peepers gives you, which is worthless). I use readers only when I wear my contact lenses, and I have worn glasses for over 40 years and know how to care for them. I was so upset when they broke - I didn’t drop them or sit on them and I pulled them out of their case and realized that one lens was loose because the frame had cracked. I have readers that I bought back when I first needed them, TEN years ago, that are similar to these in every way except one: They lasted! I would not recommend buying these unless you understand they they are ultimately disposable. I am so disappointed. Now I have to find another pair or buy these again, knowing that in less than a year they will bite the dust. Do not buy them.

I like these and have ordered several pair and recently bough pair for my husband. They are light but sturdy. Even bought tinted glasses to wear when ready at the pool. Highly recommend these glasses

I've purchased 3 of these (intermittently) over the last 5 years and all are still going strong. None have broken/fallen apart (like so many others) and none of the lenses has chipped or scratched to date. One could say the cost is high but consider this... I've also purchased those 3-5 packs in the past for $15-$20 and all of those readers are in the trash can because they are all broken. To me, the cost is reasonable when you factor in durability and dependability. Thank you, Peepers!
