  • Great product
Item Package Quantity: 1
Purchased new land with two very neglected apple trees. They were in such poor shape, but I couldn’t bear the thought of cutting them down, so tried this product after giving trees a good trim. Used in early spring, I’m simply amazed at the metamorphosis on both trees. Nice when a product actually works. Highly recommend! ... show more

  • Recommended to me - and now I recommend them to you
Item Package Quantity: 1
I have a memorial crape myrtle that I planted in the corner of the backyard in 2020 when my first and best pup passed away from old age. I wanted something there to honor his memory. I went to the nursery and all their trees were white or lavender, but they had just one in Tuscarora pink. However, it was already struggling - outgrowing its bucket and underwater, I think. It wasn't in too bad of shape. I thought it just needed its own dirt and water. Little did it know, its struggle wasn't over yet. It was planted in the late summer - maybe not in the best place. The back corner of our lot slopes down into a creekside plateau, so it probably didn't get all the water it wanted. Snowpocalypse came and killed it - at least what was above ground. I thought I was going to have to replace it, but lo and behold there were new shoots from the base in the spring. I should really call it the Lazarus tree. This summer has been its best summer, despite nearly 2 months of triple digit days. I put my hose on a timer and found these Farmer's almanac tree and shrub fertilizer spikes mentioned in a reddit forum I think. I thought WTH, I'll give them a shot - anything would be better than nothing. And man, I wasn't wrong. The instructions said to insert them in the spring and fall, but I put a couple in the ground at the beginning of July. My little struggling tree/bush has gained in height and has BLOOMED in the way crape myrtles are supposed to. If you're doing some landscaping or trying to save a struggling tree or bush on your property, I highly recommend the Farmer's Almanac Tree and Shrub Fertilizer Spikes. If you can't take my word for it, take the Farmer's Almanac, it's been around for over 100 years. ... show more

  • They will break. 2 of 6 broke on me
Item Package Quantity: 1
They said they will not shatter or break. Well, they do shatter and break. 2 of the 6 broke on me when it was putting them in the ground. So I had to dig a hole to put the parts in. If they did not break it might be a great it would be a great item. I will have to see if they are worth it before I really give my opinion on it for sure if they are good or not. ... show more

  • Easy to place, don’t break. My shrubs are thriving.
Item Package Quantity: 1
I couldn’t be happier with these. They are sturdy and easy to place. They’ve been in place for about a month now. My shrubs are thriving. I used a different brand last year that I picked up from a big box store. The results with this one are noticeably better. This will be my go to from now on.
