The bag can be a little top heavy, and there are a lot of straps, but those are honestly my only complaints. The color is even better in person and the straps and weight distribution are perfect. I use mine for college and it's great. It has its own, separate compartment specifically for a laptop which is something I wanted. It's padded on all sides of the compartment and the bottom is hard, so it's super protected. I use it to carry my laptop, chargers, folders, book, water bottle, lotions and perfumes, and sometimes even a sweater for chilly classes, and I have no worries about my backpack bursting at the seams. It fits a lot but doesn't look bulky. It's pretty water resistant too. I walk to class in the rain and don't worry about my backpack getting soaked. I even had my water bottle leak and it barely went into the other compartments. I love it!

After I got all the straps adjusted the volume increased. I use this for work - my laptop goes in the back section, a set of construction documents goes in the middle, and my mouse and charger go in the front. I wish the backpack was slightly taller - my construction prints are on 11x17 paper and the zipper doesn’t quite close over them, but it’s so much better than carrying a set of plans by hand. Overall great backpack.

I really like the backpack and its perfect for school!! I just started my freshman year and its suits me, plus its really cute and my favorite color. Only con I would say is the backpack is a little smaller than expected but, it’s still a great backpack!

I did a lot of travel/hiking recently and needed a reliable backpack, leading to the purchase of this Borealis. It's AWESOME! Adjustable, comfortable, and functional. The very front small pocket is soft inside, which is where I put anything I don't want scratched. I've used it for flying, hiking, and day-to-day wear and it's great. Looks sharp, too. This cute purple color is light though, and I do have a few sweat stains on the straps. Overall, love my purchase!
