Just enough warmth and covers the bottom. The only thing I wish it didn’t have the Velcro. Looks like to would have been a great reversible coat as well, but not! NF coats are the best.

Perfect for rainy days in the PNW. Pros: TNF is not joking when they said it’s a windwall. It’s waterproof as well. It has a fleece velvet lining which is what sold me on it. The lining is in the hood as well. Keeps you super warm, it sort of hugs your body and stays in place. The price is excellent. Can’t go wrong with Amazon being competitive. Cons: TNF had to skimp somewhere since this is not one of their $350 jackets. The zipper is cheap, the Velcro catches everything and is annoying and not to mention the ironed on logo. I’m wondering if that will peel off at some point. I kept the jacket for the warmth and the way it feels plus it was a great deal on Amazon almost 50% off, can’t beat that. ... show more

    • Still looking for a better fitting North Face coat
I was in the market for a waterproof, mid weight trench coat and iI thought this particular coat would check all the boxes, and, I got it on sale. It is waterproof and has a nice warm lining, however, it gapes around the hem, and the fabric does not lay nicely. I dislike the belt-like attachment on the back of the coat as it serves no purpose - neither visually nor functionally. I ordered a size up thinking that it ran small, as North Face typically does for me, but that was a mistake - this coat fits me like a tent. I will keep it to wear while running errands and as a raincoat, but I am still on the lookout for a better quality, better fitting North Face coat. ... show more

This jacket doesn’t lay nicely due to the material on the inside it bunches when you move in an unflattering way. I wish I had returned it. I even sized up
