The jacket is lightweight and packable. It is a shiny black finish, that actually reminds me of a black garbage bag. The logo is embroidered on the front and back. The hood is not detachable. The fit and color make the jacket unisex so it works for my son and then will work for my daughter. The material seems thin so I am worried it could get caught and tear. Picked this up for my daughter and she is a big fan. We sized up slightly so the sleeves are just a little long, but you are able to roll them inside. Other than that it fits as expected, is very good quality, and looks great!
