THE NORTH FACE Men's Gordon Lyons Vest is wonderfully warm and perfect for layering in cooler weather. While it's a little on the boxy side, I found that it adds a relaxed, comfortable fit that I enjoy. I might consider sizing down next time, but the overall quality and warmth from recycled polyester double knit fleece make it a fantastic vest. It’s versatile and the Black Heather color pairs well with almost any outfit, making it a staple in my wardrobe. I am disappointed at the low quality of this vest for $80.00. The fabric is very thin. The vest and pockets are not lined, so the backside of the North face emblem is not covered and visible inside the vest.

I picked up the North Face Men’s Gordon Lyons Vest for my husband, and it’s exactly what we expected from a quality North Face piece. I got this for my tall slender husband for this fall, as the starts too cool off to help with those slightly cooler days and mornings when you don't quite need a heavy jacket but could use just a little more warmth. This is very soft, stylish and fits great. I got a Large and on my 6', 170 lb husband it fits great with just a little room to spare so it isn't tight and he could still wear a sweater underneath. I looks and feels like excellent quality, beautifully sewed. This is great for layering either as a stand alone vest or under other jackets. Great value and very stylish. This is a great vest from North Face. It has that signature North Face look alongside the logo. I found this to be a good fit with it being a bit larger than what I've come to experience with other products and brands. The simple black is sophisticated and ended up being a good choice as it such a classic shade. The zipper works great with no engagement3 and pockets are nice and spacious. This will surely differ from person to person but I like the warmth I'm a big sweater so it is nice to know I could wear this without having to cover the arms. For me, this will do more than enough in the cooler fall and winter seasons but, for some, it might even work yearlong.
