The temperature has been between 3F-20F where I live lately and this jacket kept me warm. There are plenty of pockets on the outside and one inside left breast pocket with a zipper good for a wallet. The zipper is easy to hook up and does not snag like the Columbia jacket I used last year. Overall it does not feel heavy compared to other winter jackets I have owned. I can do without the fur like stuff around the hood. It's making my face itch and I don't see any advantage over other jackets that did not have them. My wife has a North Face jacket that is over 20-years old and it is holding up very well. It also has the appearance of being a cut above the rest, the same way that North Face along with Columbia and Lands End had in the 90's. Is coat may not hold a candle to the old versions. But after covid, the quality of everything went downhill, so i'm taking that into consideration. This is a really warm jacket. I actually have to order a different ccoat that's not as warm, (because this one is too warm for normal winter weather). My biggest complaint is the fur that goes around the hood, flip flops around and doesn't stay in place. ... show more
