Had to retire another pair of North Face boots to the garage to de-stink for a while so I bought these to tide me over. They're great. Comfortable, fits right, really lightweight. BUT. They're kinda noisy to walk in. The mesh on them makes a crinkly crunchy noise when you walk. You'll never be able to sneak up on someone so urban ninjas, skip these. I work in a quiet office and you can definitely hear me coming.

I bought these before a roadtrip to Grand Teton National Park. On day 2 there, I wore these on a 10 mile, fairly strenuous hike with a 2000 foot elevation change. These boots were the best I've used for this type of activity. Light and comfortable, along with waterproof as there were streams to navigate over.. I'd recommend them!
