I bought this as a light weight waterproof rain jacket to wear during warm to mild temperatures. Couldn’t be more pleased! It also doubles as a windbreaker and by adding layers it will meet your needs in a wide range of temperatures. Very stylish. Fits true to size. High quality item!

I decided to return this not because it's a flawed product, but because I don't think it could handle what I intend to use it for: downpours. In Hawaii, sometimes the rain would come down hard and I wanted a quality jacket that can withstand that type of weather. This is purely based on others review, but I had decided to go with Patagonia's Torrentshell. Aside from purpose, it felt very comfortable to wear and extremely breathable. The fit was almost perfect, as I'm a little on the bigger side for a medium. It looks great as well. This is a great North Face jacket - sometimes with North Face products, the top doesn't fit, but the sleeves are fine; or, it could be the other way around (top fits, but the sleeves are too short/long). This jackets fits great for me (top and sleeves). It's also better quality than my other Northface jackets. It came in a tight bag and I thought that it would be wrinkled, but when I took it out of the bag, it was in great shape. Highly reocommended. ... show more
