I love this coat! I purchased one about 12 years ago on a trip to Edinburgh when it was wet and foggy. It is not made for a heavy rain. It keeps me dry, but I don’t get perspired in it like other rain/wet weather coats. It doesn’t repel rain as does a plastic/dense plastic fabric rain coat but. It keeps you dry and comfortable. The fabric does seem to get wet but repels water enough keeping you dry inside. You do need to dry it out after you wear it in the rain. The Dry vent lining really works to keep you comfortable. I often wear it in just windy cool weather when it’s dry and find it very comfortable as a lightweight coat. It’s high-quality and was like new when I lost it after 12 years of frequent use, I lost mine leaving it on a bus. I am was so happy to find it again online. The new one is like the old one. I hope to always have one of these. Love it! I would highly recommend it if you need some LIGHT rain/Damp weather/cool, breezy weather. PS.. the hood falls over your eyes, the trick is to wear a baseball cap and it’s perfect when the hood is placed with the brim of the hat, holding it up. ... show more

I brought this for my wife and she loves it. It’s super warm and protects her from the rain. It has pockets that are huge. And the quality is amazing. It fits true to size. And it’s light weight so you can layer it with another jacket.

I got this a little large so I could wear layers underneath. I use it taking care of the animals out in the rain getting firewood great little jacket. At 6’2” 255lbs I can wear a sweatshirt underneath no problem.

This jacket was purchased to replace an old NorthFace jacket that after 20 years had come to end of life. Jacket was as expected: lightweight, water resistant, perfect in size, great color. Well made. Unfortunately, I had to return the item because the recipient didn’t like the hood. In his old TNF jacket the hood could be rolled and velcroed into the collar of the jacket. This one remains attached and always pending. Looks messy. The Velcro was a great feature. Bring it back! ... show more
